Rated 5 out of 5 by coldwill Makes ironing quicker and easier
The large water tank means you don't have to keep filling it up. Self clean ability helps reduce the limescale making the iron more efficient and will last longer. The irons ceramic plate makes ironing effortless. The continous steam is handy with the bonus of the vertical steam for those awkward creases. The anti - drip stops water spilling on the the user and the clothes. The cable is long enough which means the user has more flexibility with the position of the iron .Russell Hobbs have developed an economical iron with the Steamglide iron that has turned the task of ironing something that i usually dread to something more pleasurable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Puddle Easy to use iron with useful features
This is a well made iron that is nice and easy to use. It is lightweight and well balanced for a larger iron. The iron has a ceramic plate which glides across clothes really well and easily removes creases. The controls are as expected, well labelled and nice to use. The iron heats up quickly and is powerful. The vertical steaming function is also useful. I do find that the lead is too short, with this iron I need to use an extension lead where I didn't with our old iron. Overall this is a good product which I would recommend.

This iron is lightweight but nice and chunky. It has a good water fill capacity, but the odd thing is it only comes with a small filling jug, which means you go back and forth to the sink about 4 times before it's filled up. It has a ceramic plate, and my husband said it definitely made lighter work of his shirts. One thing this iron does do which I hadn't come across before is vertical steaming, which means you can get creases out of curtains that are hung up for example. I gave this a go, I had to use an extension lead. I've got really thick curtains but it did a decent job, they looked better afterwards.
All in all, a good iron, did the job!
