Our customers say

LEGO Star Wars - First Order Special Forces TIE fighter - 75101 is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 64.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better The model is okay, but I found the whole build process a little monotonous and in the end I didn't have the overall wow factor that I was hoping for once it was completed. It is actually bigger than I thought it would be, and although it feels quite weighty I actually find it a little dull overall. The included mini figures are okay, but again feel a bit samey, and even as a display model just doesn't look that interesting. The price tag is probably fair for what you get, however in my personal opinion I find the whole thing a little dull and therefore would struggle to recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wings To start off this set is great, it is a beautiful design and it just looks great. It is an addition to my moc that is just a must. The mini figures are great additions to any army. But with everything there is a down side, the wings are not attached on properly, of you shake the tie fighter on its side the wing falls out, a huge inconvenience for both play and just moving it around as the wings can just fall out. I am planning on removing the default connection and using technic to be stronger0 Pros: beautiful design Great minifigures Cons: wings are not attached properly

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Idea The set was awesome. Although what would be even more awesome if Lego were release a Lego Star Wars Tie Bomber set. The last one was in 2003.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doing Justice to this Piece of Design History I bought this beautiful model after watching The Force Awakens for the second time. TIE fighters are up there with Darth Vader, the Death Star and the Millennium Falcon as one of the instantly recognisable staples of the Star Wars universe. I had never owned one in Lego before and after the magnificent space battle scenes of The Force Awakens I figured I'd waited long enough. This model is a delight. It is a rare example of almost-minifigure scale which gives it a very imposing feel, and the cockpit holds both pilots (or Finn and Poe...) very comfortably. The intimidation factor is also helped by the striking red bricks and beautiful black-on-grey colour scheme, which I actually prefer over the original grey-on-black Imperial TIEs. The inclusion of a Technician and Officer are very nice touches, though I do feel that a set of this size deserves a named character to go along with it. Maybe Finn in his Stormtrooper armour and Poe would have been good additions, but with that being said, the boys who do come with this set are excellent. The new pilots are everything I expected them to be and more. The helmet moulds are great and the breathing tube is flexible enough that I'm not worried about it snapping off by accident. The set does include three blasters rather than four which is forgivable. There doesn't seem to be anywhere purpose made to store the pilots' weapons, but that is a miniscule gripe. I have no complaints about this set, but a word of warning - the wings come off a little easily! My kudos to the designers of the original TIE, the First Order TIE, and of this set. Great work all around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Tie Fighter to date I own the first Tie Fighter Lego released and as much as I like it, it's super fragile. But not the First Order Tie Fighter. You can make it flip, barrel roll, dive, spin, any maneuver and it's not going to fall apart on you. The cost is a little high for a 533 piece set, but the play ability more then makes up for that

Rated 5 out of 5 by from tie fighter quite big model and easy to build...wish there could be model b as a tie intercepter as there enought parts to change wing panels...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Greatly Deataled Tie This tie comes just as is seen in Star Wars 7.It is in perfect scale, both pilots fit nicely! The model looks great next to my other sets. The only downsides are that the wings fall of easily and that there isn't any stand so I was forced to build my own.I cant wait to get more and more Star Wars Sets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Special Forces Tie Fighter I waited a long while to buy this mainly because of the price. The build wasn't bad and definitely not hard at all, but if anyone has bad luck when buying these sets its me. The Lego store I went to during Christmas got a small supply of these total of 4. 3 of the boxes were severely crush but I found one that actually was in great shape. The problem was when I started putting it all together it was supposed to have a total of 3 blasters and I only got 2. The sticker sheet ( not a big deal with this set) actually stuck to the plastic bag so when I tried to get it out I damedged the stickers. Lego is great about replacing but I just wonder why it happens to me almost every time. As far as the tie fighter itself it is nice although a little small.Overall a nice set.
