Why we love this

One egg? One rubber chicken? One exploding hen house? What is this game? It’s giggling fun for kids age four and up! Roll the dice and then press on the chicken’s chest the number of times shown on the dice, and you’ll hear a funny “SQUAWK!” If she doesn’t lay an egg, then it’s the next player’s turn. But if the hen house opens, she’ll lay an egg that you get to crack open. Did the token inside land egg side up or chick side up? Egg side up: you’re out of luck this time, and it’s the next player’s turn. Chick side up: you get to collect a chick token. “Reset” the chicken and keep going until all six chick tokens are collected. Player who collects the most chick tokens in the winner. Squawking chicken sound effects make the game even more fun! For kids age four and up. Game includes 1 rubber chicken, 1 hen house, 1 egg, 1 dice, 1 egg token, 6 chick tokens, and 1 Rules Sheet. Colors and decorations may vary.

Squawk Chicken Game is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible game Bought this for my son for Christmas , it's cheaply made. Not even fun enough for a 7 year old to play.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The most irritating sound imaginable My kids got this game as a Christmas present from someone who must hate me. It is SO LOUD I can hear it anywhere in the house that they play. Awful, irritating sound. Why on earth does it need to be SO loud?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better My 3 year old begged for this game. So I got it for him as a surprise for using the potty like a big boy. It's a fun toy for him and my 8 year old even loves it. It is loud and pretty obnoxious but they enjoy It. It also doesnt require any batteries which is a huge win. My one major complaint is the game is hard to set up. My 8 year old has trouble getting the egg in the hole and locking the chicken down. So they continuously ask me to help which gets old, fast! I think the set up should have been constructed better for a child to use by themselves. There is only one egg so your basically setting up the game more than playing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Silly yet fun! This is a fun silly game for pre-school age kids. My 3 year old son has fun with it but my 6 year old daughter gets bored after a few times playing. The silly squawk sound from the chicken can be hilarious for the kids but seem to be very annoying for adults as my husband would stay away when the kids play this game. This is how you play the game: You set up a chicken and egg and use two plastic barn pieces to lock the chicken in place. Players take turns rolling a dice and get to pump the chicken for that many times. Each pump pushes a lever in the barn and means a chance that the barn will open, the chicken will pop up, and the egg will come out. When the egg is out, open it and a token drops out. Egg side up means you don't collect a chick. Chick side up means you do collect a chick. There are six chicks total and whoever collects the most wins. Good thing the kids can play on their own without an adult. In term of quality, the lever is not very sturdy so it doesn’t always work so sometime the kids get upset. Overall, a fun game but probably will not last for long. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review
