LEGO Star Wars - First Order Specialists Battle Pack - 75197 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice build, nice figures This set has a great little build in addition to the new executioner troopers. It will fit well into a new order army. The only complaint I have is that there are no standard looking blasters included with the stud shooters. Stud shooters are fun, but look kinda odd in display.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Specialist Battle Pack This is a simple pack, the cannon has some play value but it’s a little lacking, aesthetically it doesn’t fit for me. The minifigs are the main draw for these packs and this one makes it really easy to get a few executioners, which is really all you need. They’re good looking, mine had a misprint on the helmet but I’m sure it’s not common. Their melee weapons are creative and at a good scale. The shuttle pilot might be my favorite, the helmet design is crisp and reminiscent of the death star trooper helmets. The gunner on the other hand has that all too common helmet and even though the two just mentioned have the same bodies the gunner isn’t as creative a choice or as fun. Since it is a The Last Jedi set a royal guard would have been cool, even a new type of officer.. But it’s not the worst. Just not as good as the others. I would also say stud shooters are an issue but it’s fine for some play value. The real guns just look better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, but not outstanding either This set is ok. I don't think I'll pick up a second though. I'll start with the minifigures, since they're the reason we buy battle packs. The Stormtrooper Executioners are fantastic. I like that they come with both the electric pike thingy and also blasters (we'll get to those later), and the printing is, as always, exemplary. Ever since 2013/2014, the printing on minifigs have been superb. The First Order Shuttle Pilot is an interesting choice, since he's supposed to be a shuttle pilot, but hey, it's a cheap way to get a new minifigure which was (if i'm not mistaken) exclusive to the most expensive Last Jedi set, the First Order Star Destroyer. Not a fan of the First Order Crew member though, it feels like he is in every Force Awakens and Last Jedi set. In fact, I have almost as many of him as I do plain First Order Stormtroopers. I feel like he could've been replaced with a Heavy Gunner Stormtrooper. Now onto the build. It's pretty good for a battle pack, and it reminds me of the build from the Senate Commando battle pack from 2015 (I can't believe it's already been 3 years since that set). The spring loaded cannon is excellent for play, and it can be left off to look a little bit better on display. On to my main complaint, which I think most, if not all of Lego's older fans have as well: the stud blasters. Not a fan of them. I have said it all before: I know that they're meant for play and that Lego's target audience is kids, but I just can't get over it. If anyone at Lego is reading this, I urge you guys to, when designing battle packs, leave 4 measly little pieces off of the main build and give us 4 regular blasters, in addition to the stud shooters. This way, teens/ adults can have their regular blasters for display, while young kids can have their stud shooters for play purposes. Many teenage and adult Lego fans have suggested this idea, and I think it's a great one. Overall I feel like this set suffers from the same problem that the First Order battle pack from 2016 suffers from; only 2 truly desirable minifigures. The purpose of battle packs is to help us build armies of troopers (clones, stormies, etc.). I'm pretty sure no one wants an army of shuttle pilots and officers. I give this set a 7/10. Good build and those Stormtroopers are great, but the other 2 minifigs are undesirable (for me) and the stud blasters don't help. Thank you for reading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great walker even better figures. The build was great. The figures though are the main reason to buy it. Especially the first order stormtroopers executioners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Battle Pack that does not disappoint Would recommend this set for the FO Pilot & unique Executioner minifigs alone. But the mobile cannon is a cool design and always nice to have an extra gunner too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My son was really excited about the mini figures. He loved the Executioners. For collectors, Lego is not only about the construction but also the different and exclusive mini figures. He loved it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It’s pretty obvious why everyone is getting this This battle pack is not the best. It has a decent build that is still, IMO, a little overdone (even though I don’t even know what they shoulda done instead), and the what I assume are gunners and kind of mediocre figures that aren’t really that good for army building. A much better inclusion would have been a regular First Order stormtrooper instead of one of the gunners and instead putting that figure in another set. However, the highlight of this set truly is deserving (pretty much warrants buying this set) are the First Order executioners. The details on these Tripp’s are nothing short of awesome and although printed arms would put this minifgire at the top of mine and everyone else’s top minifig lists, it’s understandable and fine that they didn’t do it for this set. The saber axes are really nice, but inaccurate. However, this is still sort of excusable. Overall, it’s about a 3.5 out of 5

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 'So good to have you back.' Who could have expected that it would be so easy to get the First Order Stormtrooper Executioners - the latest addition to the First Order's forces. Although it's a battle pack and the laser cannon is a fun build perfect for role-play, it's really the minifigures that make this set so desirable. The Stormtrooper Executioners are amazing minifigures and their helmets have new printing to include the black stripe on one side along with the thinner, more angular mouthpiece. However, it would have been even better if the arms were dual-moulded as only the shoulder armour is black in the film: not the entire arm. The laser axes themselves look pretty good, especially at this scale. The First Order Gunner is a common minifigure but the Shuttle Pilot is only available in the much more expensive First Order Star Destroyer. This is one of the best battle packs yet due to the quality of the minifigures included. It's a perfect way to add to any The Last Jedi or Star Wars collection!
