Rated 5 out of 5 by from LEGO Star Wars 2017 Advent Calendar The lack of any exlusive minifigure is terrible. Maybe some figures like BB-8 could had a better print, an exlusive one, like some lights arround it. Many figures are not exlusive or hard to get. You get this easly but after all I think the LEGO set is good enough. Rogue one and First Order stuff fits real good. I wish I had R3-M2....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible set I loved the Star Wars themed advent calendars and I have bought them all so far. Sadly, this one is the worst. The figurines are not as unique as before (and I don't mind the lack of Christmas themed figurines, I have issues with the low number of figurines and that the figures are not as "big-league" as before.) There is also less unique parts. The small ships are often the boring part of these sets, they always seemed like a bit of "token characters". Come on a small simple sleigh with a few colourful blocks as presents? So boring and so basic.... Many of us buy these because they were full with useful and special parts, nice accessories and cool figurines. Not this one :( This time I feel there wasn't much effort to amaze and the designer of this set seemed to take the cheap and easy way of least effort. The only thing I applaud is the increased number of pieces. Altogether a disappointment, I hope next year's set will be better equipped and more interesting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank you Lego! The Star Wars advent calendar is something my son loves and I am happy to see the holiday tradition continue. The stories of Star Wars happened a long time ago, in a galaxy far away. While many of the comments here argue that there isn't enough Christmas in these advent calendar, some Star Wars fans would argue there is too much. The point of an advent calendar is to make the season special in preparation for Christmas Day, which is about a savior--I think the Star Wars saga includes this already. The whole series screams "Messiah!" in your face the whole way through, but because there isn't more Santa, or signs of capitalism (which is present in Star Wars too), or even a baby in a manger being looked after by an astromech, people lose their minds. If there is something that makes true believers most upset it is the fact that advent is rarely 24 days (this year it is 22 days)--but I don't see anyone here arguing for truth. Just more commercialism. Well, Star Wars Advent Calendar provides it the best, and as a lover of both Christmas (the real one, with a baby and lighting candles to prepare) and Star Wars, I can say that this fits into my family's tradition wonderfully.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Star Wars Set There seem to be complaints about this being a disappointing Christmas set, but I bought it because I am a Star Wars fan. I like that the advent calendar gives me access to a variety of minifigures from different Star Wars series. Pros: * Good minifigures (nice to get a Sabine as well extra stormies) * Fun microfighters * Interesting element builds (especially the Resistance mounted gun) Con: * Price. I'm sure the Star Wars licensing is what pushes the price point up. If you're a Star Wars fan, it's a good set. If you're looking for something specifically Christmas related, Lego offers other sets that are more suited to that need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The minifigs are the most important part of an advent calendar to me, and this set was a huge miss. Unkar's thug is one of the least desired LEGO Star Wars minifigs and is barely in Episode 7. First Order Snowtroopers have never even been shown in a Star Wars movie and I wish LEGO would stick to canon material. As an adult fan I've never watched the cartoons so I don't know or care about Sabine Wren. Finally there is nothing special about the BB-8 with a Santa Hat on top. It's just lazy design. The only interesting figure is the Imperial officer since it has a new printed torso. Some of the mini builds are interesting but not worth it given how bad the rest of the set is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Children's must have advent calendar My boys have had these calendars before, they are fab!!! A figure or space ship to build everyday. Excellent value for money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Star Wars 'Christmas' Advent Calendar Just want to say I totally agree with the other reviewers who mention the lack of Christmas in the advent calendar. That's the whole point. We love Lego and have spent a lot of money on them over the years for the kids. Please keep Christmas in what the vast majority of your customers agree should be Christmas themed sets. The advent calendar is a wonderful Christmas tradition.
