The hardest thing to put togetherI bought this for my son as my doctor thought it would be good for him. We spent 4 hours trying to get this thing together. Then the screws for the seat would not stay in at all. I am taking it back and will try it again. If it doesn't work this time I will try a different brand. I even tried looking for videos of the assembly thinking we had done something wrong. Nope. Nothings. The other brands have assembly videos but not this one.

Too big for younger childrenWe bought this for our daughter's second birthday. She couldn't reach the pedals then and now 9 months later, she still doesn't come close to reaching the pedals. We thought this would be a great way for her to learn to ride a bike, but it won't work since she can't even reach the pedals.

Need a napMy husband tried to put it together first, then he said a screw hole with stripped. I returned it to the store to get a new one only to learn that my husband was using the wrong screws to begin with. I'm pretty crafty at putting things together and this thing had me so frustrated. It took over 3 hours to put together and I still cannot get the clamp to hold the seat study to close. I don't know how I'm going to get it closed it's a plastic lever against metal. I guess I will have to call the manufacturer on Monday. This is a gift for my one-year-old grandson which I know he and I will both enjoy but I recommend getting somebody else to put it together for you.

Wonderful Product; Difficult AssemblyI found this trike in searching on-line for the best toys for a 1 year old. The features that enable it to be used for several years as the child grows are great. However it took almost an hour to complete the first two assembly steps. I had to call the manufacturer twice for help, and after three hours the assembly still wasn't finished. I bought it on-line, and the company who sold it was very apologetic and recommended returning it. We had to take it apart to send it back which was frustrating. But I liked the trike so much we went to a local toy store to buy it and paid them to assemble it. I highly recommend this trike but with the qualifier to purchase it assembled.

A lot of fun!The assembly looked like it was difficult, which is why I left it to my husband to put together. After assembled, me and the little one went for a stroll from home to a nearby park with the trike. Easy to handle, little one enjoyed the ride. Feels sturdy, and looks great!

extremely poor designinstructions had no written guidance. The set up of the trike wheels was extremely poor and possibly the worst I have ever seen.

Son enjoysMy son loves this bike. The jury is still out for me. I don't think the wheels will hold up long - we live on a gravel/sand road. I also wish there was a lock on the handlebars so that my 1 yr old couldn't go crazy moving them while I'm pushing, it makes us topple over. My son is 31 inches tall and it fits his size perfectly. My husband is 6ft4in and this is one of the few convert trikes that are comfortable for his height. I'm a foot shorter and don't have a problem pushing either. If the wheels hold up I think that it will have been a good buy.
