Why we love this

Introducing the Comfigrip Steam Iron from Morphy Richards, turbo boosted features for a great finish, fast. Tackle larger loads of laundry with our largest water tank yet. With the 400ml water tank there's longer between re-fills so you don't have to break your flow. The Comfigrip has a super smooth, non-stick Pearl Ceramic soleplate for an effortless glide. It is powered by 2800W for quick heat up so no waiting around. The soleplate features Tri-Zone technology to remove creases and help you steam through your ironing pile.

The Tri-zone soleplate consists of a Turbo steam shot, constant steam zone and a pressing plate. 55g of constant steam is all you'll need to melt away most creases as it relaxes fibres for easy crease removal. A powerful 190g Turbo steam shot helps remove the really stubborn creases and creases in hard to reach areas. The powerful steam for each zone is supplied by dedicated dual steam chambers to ensure each and every steam hole gives you the steaming power you need. Finally the pressing plate removes excess water from garments to avoid re-creasing for a smooth, dry and crease free finish. The soleplate also has other great design features: Precision Tip – Shaped at the tip of the soleplate to get pristine results in hard to reach areas like collars and between buttons. Ideal for garments with lots of detail where you need precision control. Rolled edge - For superior glide and no more snagging. Allows you to iron backwards as well as forwards safe in the knowledge that you won’t iron creases back in.

The Comfigrip also has anti-scale and a self-clean system to keep your iron working like new for longer. The anti-drip system means that the Comfigrip won't leave water marks on your garments so you can rest assured.

Morphy Richards ComfiGrip Steam Iron is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 178.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good easy to use iron I just received this yesterday and decided I'd better check it out within the return date. Yes the cable could be a metre longer (but I just use an extension lead if I have to iron a greater distance away from a socket). The iron I find a decent weight - not too heavy or too light); I like the ceramic pearl sole plate which glides easily, and especially like that it is so easy to fill (right sized 400 ml jug is included). The steam on/off feature is easy to use and it steams well continuously when on steam with no effort (just flick the switch right to steam), plus there is the spray function. Heats up quickly as stable upright as most irons are. Made a good job of my sheets etc in a quick time. Yes I did knock the heat control dial once with my thumb, but once I was aware of that I just made sure I avoided it. Yes it does sometimes spatter water out of sole plate, but I don't envisage this being much of a problem. However I will be sure to use distilled water in the iron. Overall I am much happier with this iron than the one I bought a couple of months ago - that was too much work having to hold down a button to steam! Hopefully it will be very reliable - but it does have a 3 year warranty - if registered online so that is another great feature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfortable to hold. I bought this iron to use primarily as a dry iron. So far, I am extremely satisfied. It looks beautiful, is really comfortable to hold, a nice weight, heats up very quickly and glides smoothly and evenly over clothes etc. I found the point extremely useful for getting into collars, gathers etc. The only slight criticism is the length of the cord - much shorter than my previous iron. Rated 4 out of 5 by from All purpose iron Recommended use says cool iron to hot iron. I find the iron can be a bit heavy when full of water. Heavy iron great for jeans and heavy workwear so I find by the time you get to ironing finer fabrics the iron has less water in the tank so is lighter to use. Some comments regarding a short lead?-possibly if you plug it in the kitchen and iron out in the garden. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very smooth steam iron with great heat settings Very pleased with the ComfiGrip iron, as it's super smooth with steam and heat settings making ironing very quick. Also like the front point with extra steam outlets to get into small seams and corners. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheers up a boring job Buying an iron is not the most exciting event but a necessary one when your old iron goes phut. So my new iron is a happy surprise - comfortable, efficient and swift enough to get me rapidly away from the hated ironing-board. Particularly appreciated: the steam and eco settings. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Serious steam iron that zips through ironing! Bought this product today and already putting it to good use! The large water tank means refills are minimal. Particularly liked it's light weight feel (given its size). Self cleaning anti-scale system a godsend in our area which has notoriously hard water! Comfigrip handle lessens hand strain (I suffer from RSI) Vertical steam option for removing creases from hanging curtains. Highly recommended. High quality product at affordable price.
