Larchlap Ryeford Arch is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 31.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficukt to assemble The main unit is very sturdy but the trellis is very weak and thin. I ordered 3 units and all of them had dmaage in the trellis. Also not easy to assemble. The arches don’t sit flush into the posts

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality product. Very good quality item, delivered very quickly.Read all the reviews before purchase and was prepared to buy extra screws, however when it was delivered there were no screws the packet was empty, they were all over the back of the truck. So we will have to buy all of them.Notwithstanding this I would recommend this.Put together following the picture and it worked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wooden garden arch Overall, this garden arch is good value for money, long delivery wait, after reading previous reviews about the length of the screws included with the arch, this was supposed to have been rectified. The screws are still not long enough and we had to use our own. This is the only drawback which still needs to be rectified.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely arch - needed longer screws As previously written we had to buy some longer screws - Luckily I had a patient husband to put it together. But overall the arch looks great for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for a small garden Bought this for my mother who has a small garden. Not too chunky, so doesn't dominate the space. My son and I put this up in an hour, including concreting it into the ground. The packaging however had far too many staples and it took me 20 mins and a lot of pulling with pliers to remove all the staples!! Having read other reviews we used are own longer screws to fix it together. These were self-driving, so no need for pilot holes, which saved time. My mother is really pleased with it; it is mainly for somewhere to hang bird feeders.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product Great Price. Overall fantastic product only one slight niggle the screws need to be longer. 70mm square posts with 60mm long screws to then secure to the trellis section? But this was a minor problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inadequate Instructions Good product but sound construction knowledge required because of depth supplied screws need countersinking to enable a sound fixing. No suggestions as to the ground fixings required.

Can you please tell me the width dimension for the 2 trellis uprights on the Larchlap Ryeford Arch, it says 80cm on the description but I presume that

Asked by: Stu1

Post dimensions

What is the section dimensions of the posts example are they square or oblong sections. So that customers know which size of base brackets to buy
Asked by: Exasp
You need to buy 75mm base brackets as the uprights are 70mm square. The bolts tighten up well but my hubby still drilled and screwed them to the uprights.

The problem with screw size, has this been rectifed

Asked by: lossietink
Don’t think so. I used the long screws to attach the arches to the posts and ordered some more spares

what is the finished opening width (from side to side)

Asked by: jenky1
The finished opening width can vary dependent upon how you assemble the arch, none of the items are pre-marked or re-drilled.
