I thought these spoons looked a bit big. My daughter has a really small mouth (for a 7mth old), so I wasn't sure how she'd get on. But they're fine. They're really soft, so I guess that helps. For me, the main advantage is that the spoons have quite a big dip in them so they hold runny food/liquid very well. If your child needs medicine or fluids, and they won't take a syringe, bottle or cup, these spoons are really good for getting it into them.

Bought these as a pressie for my niece's baby as I used them for my daughter and was well pleased with what they do. Really good for giving a warning when food is hot and nice size scoop too. The spoons last ages.

It is very simple in design, long handles with red rubber grips that changes colour. The spoon tips are soft and small ideal for a starter weaning spoon, recommended for four months upwards.
To use you simply stir the ready food in bowl or jar and if too hot the red rubber changes to yellow in colour, sometimes the spoon will only change slightly yellow meaning to food is still too warm for the baby should not change colour if the food is ok temperature.
The spoons are a crazy idea never once did i relay on the spoons to say my son's food was ok or too hot i judged for myself. If you hold the spoon for a few minutes in the palm of your hand it changes colour and when washing up the spoons changed colour this was fun and i was messing around with the spoons.
They are dishwasher safe and can be sterilised.
They are also good for teething on due to the tip being so soft.
I recommend the tommee tippee heat sensor spoons for its original purpose, but they are also fun and manageable for weaning.
Summary: Silly gimmick spoons from tomee tippee
