Rated 4 out of 5 by Supee A nice surprise!
I did a lot of research on the internet on breast pumps, both manual and electric, before buying this one. I do have other tomee tippee products like their bottles, sterilizer and mattress sensor, and been very happy with their quality and ease of use. I didn't want to pay a fortune for the occasional pumping so this seemed ideal. Despite some negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. It is all a bit daunting as a first time mum when you see it but once its assembled, it's light and pumps well. Valve can stick at first stopping milk from dropping through but a little squeeze every time you wash it solves this. Delivery was fast and online website is great.

I used this breast pump after experiencing difficutlies breastfeeding my little boy. It enables you to express milk and feed baby while out and about as i wasn't keen on breastfeeding in public. I used this exclusivley and gave up breastfeeding. It still meant baby was getting breast milk but i wasn't getting all the discomfort associated with breastfeeding. I was then able to gradually introduce a few formula feeds, increasing the number as time went on. I thought this product was great value for money, hard work sometimes expressing but you build up the muscles in your hand! The handle melted a bit in the microwave which didn't affect performance. Very good buy for me and avoids costly outlay of electrical one.

This pump is ok and does the job well enough. It's easy to use and you express straight into a bottle which is handy. My only problem with it is it's the third one I'd had by the time my baby was 3 months old as the first 2 I had were faulty! The first one snapped on the very first use and the second one melted in the microwave, despite being microwaveable and me following the instructions to the letter. I ended up complaining to Tommee Tippee as they should last longer than that. I would hesitate to recommend it for that reason although my current one is fine and works well.

After expressing for almost 5 months using the Asda Little Angels Breast Pump, I saw this in the baby event and thought I would treat myself. What a mistake, it is not sterdy the handle moves making your hand ache, my nipples became sore which has never happened before, it says 3 pieces which is rubbish there are about 6 and it is fiddly to put together once you take it apart. I thought it looked good with a spare valve and all the extras. But save your money buy the Asda version it is much sterdier and easier to use and better value for money.

I bought this pump during the Asda baby event, which made it fantastic value. I used it right from my daughter was a week or two old and found it really efficient. It's easy to use and clean and I found it really easy to switch between breast & bottle with the closer to nature system. I've since tried the closer to nature electric pump and the medela swing pump, but am about to buy a second one of these as it's by far the best for us.

I read the reviews so thought why not give this a try as I will only occasionally be using a pump so don't want to spend a great deal, the reviews seemed good so I purchased it. Boy do I regret it, it's so cheap, looks like a toy! I spent ages trying to pump something out! I ended up expressing the milk out with my hands!
Take my advice waste of money and waste of time.

This product is fine. It's easy enough to clean and small enough to carry in a bag if you need to take it out with you. The microwave steriliser box it comes with is a useful addition. One of the only problems I've had with this (and I'm presuming it's the same with all manual pumps) is that unless your breasts are quite full of milk and firm then you can't always get a great deal of milk off using this. With my next baby I'd probably look to invest in an electric pump although I'll still probably use this one.
