Leonardo dreams of being the perfect hero
A brave, decisive, square-jawed leader of men, just like his idol, Captain Ryan, from his favourite TV show Space Heroes. Unfortunately, right now he’s an inexperienced teen in charge of three smart-aleck brothers who love to poke fun at him. But in the end, the other Turtles know they can always count on Leo to hatch a plan that will lead them to victory.
Donatello is a brilliant inventor
Donatello makes all of the gadgets, weapons and vehicles that keep the Turtles one step ahead of the bad guys. But sometimes he’s too smart for his own good, like when he’s so busy admiring an enemy’s futuristic laser cannon that he forgets to run for his life. The most socially awkward of the Turtles, his attempts to impress his crush, April often backfire. Donnie, it seems, is an expert in every field — except talking to girls.
Mikey is the most fun-loving and energetic
Mikey is enthusiastic about... well... pretty much everything! Mikey yearns to be part of the real world, and insists that people would accept the Turtles if they only got to know them. His spaciness often makes him the butt of Raph’s jokes, but more than once Mikey’s outside-the- box thinking has saved their shells. What he lacks in focus, he makes up for in creativity, and his unpredictability makes him tough to beat.
Raphael is a straight-up brawler
Raphael has no patience for hiding in shadows or keeping his voice down. Tough, brawny, and aggressive, Raph would rather fight first and ask questions later, which sometimes gets the Turtles in over their heads. He and Leo constantly clash over the best plan of action — as in, Leo likes to plan and Raph likes action. Raph’s also got a sarcastic sense of humour and the only one safe from his insults is his loyal pet turtle, Spike.
Splinter is a master in Ninjutsu
Calm and wise, mutant rat Splinter acts as the instructor or sensei of philosophy and martial arts to the teen Turtles. He is also the one who gave the brothers their Renaissance-inspired names. A master in “Ninjutsu,” Splinter strives to teach the team the Bushido Code (also called The Way of the Warrior) of honor and loyalty, as well as the secrets of the stealthy Ninja. A ninja master at the height of his abilities, Splinter is determined to protect his "family" at all costs! He's also remarkably in tune with the universe; he can literally feel its vibrations, allowing him to sense the energies and intentions of others.
April is not a "normal" girl
Very smart and off-beat, with an indie rock vibe, April feels more comfortable around the Turtles than around her high-school peers. She always knew she wasn't meant to live a "normal" life, especially after extra-dimensional beings kidnapped her super-intelligent scientist father. April finds a lot of common ground with the Turtles and is confident that the unique abilities her father fostered in her will also serve to rescue him.
Casey Jones is a friend of the Turtles
Casey Jones is a teenaged vigilante friend of the Turtles. A skilled (though untrained) martial artist and an occasional hothead, he connects with them on a level that few others can, slinging insults, sharing pop culture, and accepting them as equals. He makes a perfect "older brother" for the gang and is especially good buds with Raphael.
Metalhead is Donatello's metal turtle design
Donatello designs a metal turtle out of a confiscated Kraangdroid to act as a battle surrogate against the armored Kraang. The construct goes beserk soon after being infiltrated and reprogrammed by a Kraang robot. Donatello is unable to control Metalhead, so he and his brothers are forced to take it down.
Shredder is The Turtles arch-villian!
This arch-villian is the leader of the Foot Clan and controls a vast criminal organization headquartered in New York City. By twisting the Bushido Code and his martial arts for evil, Shredder has gained power, wealth, and an aura of fear that makes him a mega-villian opponent for the Turtles to overcome. Cold and cunning, Shredder wears an ancient suit of multi-bladed armor and is a skilled Ninjutsu master.
The Foot Soliders are a vast army of Ninja warriors
The Foot Clan, also known as the Foot, are a vast army of Ninja warriors. Although these soldiers wear identical uniforms when in action, they come from all walks of life and may act in their civilian identities as well. The Foot Clan obey Shredder without question and use an array of weapons to try and take down the Turtles.
The Kraang have come to Earth in order to colonize it
A race of extra-dimensional aliens, the Kraang manifest on Earth as multi-tentacled brain-creatures. In order to blend with human society, the Kraang have developed cybernetic host bodies that they can use like vehicles. The Kraang themselves are housed in hermetically sealed compartments in the host bodies' chests. The Kraang have come to Earth in order to colonize it. Their plan is to transform the Earth's environment into something more suitable for their own kind—which will destroy all human life!
Leatherhead is a great ally for Team Green!
Leatherhead is as close to a "cousin" as anything the Turtles have met so far. As a young pet alligator, he was flushed down the toilet by concerned parents. The Kraang captured him and experimented on him. He escaped their clutches and, in the process, took the power cell that allows for transit through the portal connecting Earth and Dimension X. His martial arts skills are not as highly developed as the Turtles' but his massive form and ability to take a beating makes him a great ally for Team Green!
Dogpound is the human/dog hybrid
Once one of Shredder's most promising students of dark ninjutsu, Chris Bradford was sent to New York to secretly establish a base of operations for the Foot Clan. He became a celebrity with a chain of dojos, but was covered in mutagen ooze while fighting the Turtles. Due to a bite from Shredder's Akita dog, Bradford mutated in a human/dog hybrid. Dubbed Dogpound by Michelangelo, he hangs with another mutant baddie, Fishface.
Fishface is a fierce mutant fish living on land
Shredder prefers Ninjas for his operations due to their skills, but there are times when only a low-level thug can get a job done. Shredder finds the perfect candidate in a prison in São Paolo: Xever. As long as Shredder pays, Xever does what he's told. He is angry, tough, and cruel, and his sole focus is the pursuit of money. After being exposed to the Kraang's mutagen bomb, Xever transforms into Fishface, a fierce mutant that employs robotic legs and air-breathing apparatus to stay on land.
Slash was Raph's loyal pet turtle.
Once Raph's loyal pet turtle Spike, he mutated into a larger, craggier turtle names Slash. He has a spiked shell and sharp beak. His strength and ninja abilities are faster and tougher than the Turtles, with intentions not as admirable.
Slash tries to convince Raphael to leave his brothers behind. When he refuses, Slash becomes a foe rather than a friend.
Stockman-Fly wants to take down the Turtles!
After promising and failing Shredder time and again to deliver a mutant army to take down the Turtles, Shredder decides he's had enough and mutates Stockman into a pest, Stockman-Fly.
Realizing the Turtles have developed retro-mutagen that can mutate him back into a human, he hunts them down. The Turtles better have more than a fly squatter to take down this mutant pest. Not only does Stockman-Fly possess super mutant strength and the ability to fly, he can also fire highly toxic acid vomit that will make the Turtles want to hibernate back into their shells.
Snakeweed was ally to the evil Kraang!
The venomously-vined Snakeweed was once no more than human lowlife, "Snake," snitch and ally to the evil Kraang!
Exposed to Mutagen Ooze on the Turtles' first topside mission, this former thug is now botanical beast, lashing out at anything foolish enough to come in close contact. Capable of instantly re-growing his leafy limbs, Snakeweed would be unstoppable if not for his vulnerability to fire!
Spider Bytez is a giant spider!
After a barrel of Ooze is poured over Vic, he mutates into Spider Bytez, a giant spider with the ability to spit deadly fireballs of acid.
With his massive spider legs, he chases down the Turtles giving them a run for their lives. The Turtles better be on the lookout, watching if Spider Bytez is hanging from any spider webs nearby.
Newtralizer is one big bad mutant!
Armed to the teeth with weapons, Newtralizer is one big bad mutant. Being held in a detention center by the Kraang, this big mutant newt became the Kraang's number one enemy.
As a bounty hunter, he tracks them down and takes them down, collecting their tentacles as he does. With unbelievable strength, and a deep hatred for the Kraang, he proves to be more of an ally to the Turtles then a mutant to fear.
Does Tiger Claw have the skills to take down Master Splinter?
Part man, part tiger, Tiger Claw is the most feared assassin in all of Asia. Hired by Shredder to assist the Foot Clan in capturing Splinter, Tiger Claw proves to be even more than the Turtles can handle.
With extreme martial arts and weapons to back him up, does he have the skills to challenge and take down Master Splinter?
