Asda.com Q4 Delivery Pass FAQ’s

1. What is the Asda.com Delivery Pass? The Asda.com Delivery Pass allows you to pay for delivery charges in a one off payment for orders placed on the following websites: Asda Grocery Asda Direct George.com You can buy an Asda.com Delivery Pass that lasts for 1 month (31 days) or 3 months (93 days). Once you have purchased your Asda.com Delivery Pass you will not have to pay the delivery charge for any of your online shops from the Asda Grocery, Asda Direct and George.com websites for the duration of the pass – please see points 4 & 5 for any exclusions and restrictions.

2. How long does the Asda.com Delivery Pass last for and how much does it cost? We have two different Asda.com Delivery Passes: • 1 month Pass – this is a 31 day Pass and is £8 • 3 month Pass – this is a 93 day Pass and is £24 If you have purchased a 3 month Asda.com Delivery Pass between 10/01/14 – 10/02/14 this pass will cost £15. If you are happy for your 3 month pass purchased during this period to auto renew, you will be charged £15 every time this pass auto renews (maximum of 3 renewals). The last renewal date for passes purchased on 10th February 2013 will be 6th November 2013. If you choose not to auto renew, should you wish to purchase a new 3 month pass when your existing pass expires you will be charged full price and not the promotional price of £15 – at the time of writing this cost is £24.

3. Promotional Asda.com delivery Pass 10th January 2014 – 10th February 2014 Customers who purchase a 3 month Asda.com Delivery Pass for the promotional price of £15 from 10th January 2014 to 10th February 2014 (inclusive) have the opportunity to continue to pay £15 for the 3 month Asda.com Delivery Pass for up to 3 renewals. This means our customers can benefit from the promotional price for £15 for the 3 month pass for the whole of 2014. To qualify for this promotional price customers must allow their pass to auto renew and not opt of auto renewal at anytime during the duration of their 3 month Asda.com Delivery Pass. If you decide you do not want to auto renew your 3 month pass you are free to do so, however if you buy a new 3 month pass you will charged the full price. At the time of writing the full price of the 3 month pass is £24.

4. Will I able to save money on my delivery charges? This depends on how often you shop with us however our 1 month pass costs £8 and our 3 month pass costs £24. If you shop regularly you could save the cost of the 1 month pass in just 2 shops on our Grocery site or 3 shops on Asda Direct or George.com. If you shop 3 times or more on our Grocery site or 5 times or more on Asda Direct or George.com you could save the cost of the 3 month pass. It all depends on how many times you will use our online shops but we hope we can help you save money on your delivery charges.

5. Are all delivery options included in the Asda.com Delivery Pass? On our Grocery website all delivery slots are included for use with the Asda.com Delivery Pass as long as there is availability for the slot you want. This includes Click and Collect. On Asda Direct and George.com the Asda.com Delivery Pass will cover: • Standard Delivery • Click & Collect The Asda.com Delivery Pass will not cover the following delivery methods: • Named Day • Next Day • International • Collect +

6. Are there any restrictions or exclusions to using the Asda.com Delivery Pass? Yes, the following restrictions and exclusions apply: • We limit the Asda.com Delivery Pass to one delivery per day on each of the following sites: o Asda Grocery o Asda Direct o George.com • All orders placed using the Asda.com Delivery Pass must be £40 or more on our Grocery site and £10 on Asda direct and George.com. • Asda Grocery Business customers cannot purchase an Asda.com Delivery Pass at this time. • The following delivery methods on Asda.com and George.com are excluded: o Named Day o Next Day o International o Collect + • You cannot have more than 1 active Asda.com Delivery Pass in your account at one time. • The Asda.com Delivery Pass will not start working on our general merchandise website www.asda.com/direct and our clothing website www.george.com until 24 hours after you purchase it on our Grocery website. Generally it will be working the day after you buy the Delivery Pass – it will not take longer than 24hrs but for most customers it should be working a lot quicker than this.

7. How do I buy an Asda.com Delivery Pass? You can buy the Asda.com Delivery Pass on the Asda Grocery website (www.asda.com/deliverypass). You will need to be signed in to buy an Asda.com Delivery Pass. If you are not an Asda Grocery customer you can register an account with us on the Asda Grocery site (www.asda.com/grocery) and then buy an Asda.com Delivery Pass. To use the Asda.com Delivery Pass to place an order on Asda Direct, you must use the same email address that you used to log into the Asda Grocery website.

8. Can I cancel my Asda.com Delivery Pass? Yes you can cancel your Asda.com Delivery Pass – please see below for the details: • There is a 7 day cooling off period which starts when you purchase your Asda.com Delivery Pass. • This 7 day cooling off period also applies to Asda.com Delivery Passes that automatically renew (See point 12). • If you want to cancel your Asda.com Delivery Pass inside this 7 day cooling off period and have not placed an order on Asda Grocery, Asda Direct or George.com we will refund the cost of the Pass in full. • If you want to cancel your Asda.com Delivery Pass outside of this 7 day cooling off period or have placed an order on the Asda Grocery website, Asda Direct or George.com we will not refund the cost of the Pass. • If you do cancel your Asda.com Delivery Pass you can still shop with Asda online but you will have to pay a delivery charge for every order you place. • If you would like to cancel your Asda.com Delivery Pass, please call our Service Team on 0800 952 6060 and we'll sort this out for you (calls will be free from a BT landline, calls from other service providers and mobile networks may vary. 9 . How do I know that my Asda.com Delivery Pass is active? Your Asda.com Delivery Pass will start working on the Asda Grocery website as soon as you purchase it and can be applied to an Asda Grocery order straight away. We will confirm your purchase and activation via email and you will be able to see the Delivery Pass in the ‘Your Orders’ section of the Asda Grocery website. There will be a 24 hour delay before the Asda.com Delivery Pass will work on Asda Direct and George.com (we will email you to let you know when your Asda.com Delivery Pass becomes active on Asda Direct and George.com) Generally it will be working the day after you buy the Delivery Pass – it will not take longer than 24hrs but for most customers it should be working a lot quicker than this. We will email you again to let you know when your Asda.com Delivery Pass is about to expire.

10. Do I need to ‘do’ anything to apply my Asda.com Delivery Pass? No. That’s the great thing about the Asda.com Delivery Pass. Once you have purchased a Delivery Pass all orders placed afterwards will automatically apply the Delivery Pass (subject to all conditions being met – see points 5 and 6).

11. When do you take payment for my Asda.com Delivery Pass? We will take payment from your card as soon as your purchase your Asda.com Delivery Pass.

12. What does Auto Renewal mean? As of 10th January 2014 we will auto renew the Asda.com 3 Month delivery pass – this means that instead of your 3 month delivery pass running out and you potentially being charged for deliveries it renews automatically. We’re pleased to offer this feature as we all forget things sometimes. It means you’ll never miss out on enjoying the benefits of the Asda.com Delivery Pass. You don’t have to do anything - Asda take the money automatically on day 93 of your 3 month delivery pass. If you do not want your 3 Month Delivery Pass to auto renew you can opt out of this feature when you purchase your Asda.com Delivery Pass. You can cancel your auto renewal at anytime you want – this means you can still use your Asda.com Delivery Pass but it will not renew when it expires. Remember our ‘cooling off’ policy still applies to every Asda.com Delivery Pass you purchase including delivery passes which auto renew (you can read about the Cooling Off period in point 8 above).
