The Black Panther Pursuit set is a nice opportunity to see the Black Panther in action! His flying craft does not see much airtime in the movie, but we get a nicely detailed view of the ship in this set. The actual build of the ship is excellent with a really interesting approach to the wings. Using flat hinges, the wings are applied with an angle that would seem impossible at first glance. The front cone section of the ship also has some really interesting angles that showcase some more complicated building techniques. The overall effect is a sleek and low-profile craft that looks fast and dangerous. The build is very compact with tight brickwork, which makes the entire structure very stable. I love the integration of the green and purple with the black, as they add some variety to an otherwise very dark color scheme. Stud shooters mounted underneath the wings make the craft battle-ready. Black Panther first snugly into the cockpit area in a reclined position ready to blast after his prey!
Captain America's jeep is a pretty standard looking Lego jeep, although it has a neat folding front window and a missile launcher built into the front. It easily holds a couple of minifigures and sports all-terrain wheels to rumble over any surface. Like the Panther's craft, it is a solid and compact build that holds up to play while racing to Cap's most recent mission. Winter Soldier's motorcycle is a standard Lego motorcycle, sporting a chunkier body. It looks great speeding side-by-side into danger with Cap's jeep.
The minifigures are a great addition to any collection. Black Panther is the real star here, although I don't care for the ears "hat" that are attached to the minifigure head. I would have preferred head covering cowl piece like Lego Batman, but perhaps that would appear to chunky. Overall we really liked this set and it was excellent to add Black Panther to our collection.

Ooh! Another exclusive superhero: the amazing Black Panther! I was impressed with the character when watching Civil War.
Let's see the set!
Captain America: Cool! A helmetless Captain America that does not come in the Helicarrier! Whilst cool, and with a nice hairpiece, I do not like his head piece. Instead of the smiling side, I would have preferred a sterner face more typical of Steve Rogers.
Winter Soldier: A cheap way to get him without getting Super Hero Airport Battle. However, if you are looking to get the whole character roster, you will end up with two identical Winter Soldiers. Still, he is a crucial character to both scenes.
Black Panther: Let's be honest: The main reason, or at least part of it, you are getting this set is for T'Challa/Black Panther, right? With a detailed head and torso, cool headgear, but oddly blank legs, Panther is great in his first Lego appearance, but would have appreciated an actual helmet with T'Challa's head underneath. More balanced printing would be nice as well.
Captain America's car: Totally inaccurate to the film. Rogers drives a black Audi in this scene, not a blue Taskforce vehicle! Guess there was some different concept art! The build is average, the only cool part being the upside-down fence at the front. The spring-loaded shooter and missile actually blocks the passenger seat, so you have to remove that if Bucky wants to sit with Cap. The golden headlights look rather out of place, would appreciate a black color version.
Winter Soldier's motorbike: Serves its purpose and is decently accurate. Small, but the dark red fairing is cool.
Panther's jet: Awesome! Love the wing angles and the slight purple. The lime green interior is..... umm... odd, but cool pieces nonetheless. Purple and black blend nicely, but some monochromatic black would be nice as well. The stud shooters are a "side dish", but add compact weaponry. Not a big fan of the lime green engines, though, but on the whole, the standout of the set. Nice to see a set with a new figure not just about the minifigures.

Well over all this set was pretty good. The jet for black panther has a lot of good details on it. But at the same time a lot of stickers. And every one hates stickers when it come to Lego. I would have liked to see more weapons on it though. The only thing it had were 2 green stud shooters. for some reason the cockpit had a fire extinguisher in it, witch is not bad. But its just kind of random.
There's not much to say about the car. I personalty, could have lived at the end of the day without it. Again, lots of stickers. It only really needed only like one sticker. Witch was the license plate. the was also a black spring loaded gun witch is cool. This is the first time i have seen a black one. Good job on detail again.
One of my favorite things about this set is the price. It always seems that Lego prices are on the rise, and for for the number of pieces and figs 30$ is the way to go.
On to the figures. captain America is okay, I just hate his hair and shield. the hair is just to......big. I would have preferred they just gave him the helmet instead. And the shield is just prefect and shinny. It would have been nice if they made it look a little beat up and battle-scared. but good fig over all. Black Panther is nice to. But they needed to give him some sort of weapon. Winter solider is cool. i would have liked a bigger gun though.
Besides the small changes they could have made. Its a good set and i would recommend only if you have seen the movie. PS, not movie accurate. GET IT!!!

I liked this set, it was my first civil war set, and it's very good, but it's not very accurate 2 this scene in the movie. First up: the minifigures: Cap was wearing his helmet in this scene, but it's still nice 2 get a better cap with no helmet the the AOU version. Bucky wasn't wearing his winter soldier uniform in this scene, he had on a hoodie and jeans, plus he didn't have his gun. Black panther is perfect, but could've had some leg printing. Now onto the build itself: Cap wasn't riding a 4x4 in this scene, he just "Borrowed" a bystander's car, Black panther didn't use a jet until the end, but I've basically been using it as an Avengers jet. Bucky's motorcycle is perfect.
Pros: Cap unmasked
Black Panther minifigure (YAY! :D)
CONS: BUCKY'S OUTFIT
no leg printing
(not accurate, which is fine, but doesn't make this a bad set)

I have been on a LEGO hiatus for some time and used this set and a couple of others to get back into it.
This set is great, especially for the minifigures you get. Not really a fan of the stickers that LEGO has been implementing more, but other than that this set is great.
Winter Soldier's bike is just a standard motorbike, but love the detail on his metal arm. In this set Captain America is unmasked so they gave him a hairpiece which actually looks good on him. His jeep is well made and very sturdy. Don't understand the springloaded shooter but I guess that adds to the playability.
The Black Panther minifig is by far the coolest detailed one here. His jet was a very interesting build, using some techniques I wouldn't have thought of. Very Cool. (of course I haven't bought LEGO since 2001) Very sleek and adding stud shooters to the underside of his jet. Jet is also very sturdy.
Totally recommend this set for younger and older alike.
Long live LEGO!

After going to see Captain America: Civil War, I decided that it was worth buying a single set from the Lego line so I could commerate the movie. I settled on this set after debate between it and the Crossbone's Hazard Heist. I chose this set for the figures as the value of it as a movie scene, figuring it'd be a good model for display purposes.
When I finished building the set, I found that the reasons I bought the set were satisfied. There are some things I would have liked to have seen, but for the price of the model and the things you recieve, I would recommend this to parents wishing to give their children a good play set or collectors wishing to display the model.
As always, I'll go through the pros and cons of this set. At the end, I will list any modifications that are decent to add to the set, all of which that take minimal pieces and simply a few minutes to build into the model.
Perhaps the biggest con that I have with this set, as I do with many sets based off of movies, is that this is in fact recreating a very specific scene from the movie. Taking that into consideration, I find that the value of the set as an imaginative and story-creating set to be very limited. The included portions showcase exact vehicles from the movie, in a scene that, while action packed and fun, didn't seem to hold as much weight to the whole movie. Sets like the Airport Ultimate Battle have more story creating potential because the set includes more terrain and characters, and the battle wasn't shown fully, letting you imagine other characters fighting and letting the imagination roam wild. Here, the set is very black and white: Black Panthar chases Bucky, Cap tries to stop him, all three crash, scene over. While this may not be an issue for younger kids, those who enjoy imaginative play may find themselves a little stumped after a while and become dissatisfied with the overall value.
That being said, the model is very well done for the scene it was trying to recreate. The jet for Black Panther is very geometric and flows well from back to front. The use of hinges and different elements makes it feel much more high tech and specialized, rather than standard Lego City jets or planes. The stud shooters underneath don't add or detract from value personally, though some parents may find it to be an issue. The two smaller builds for Captain America and Bucky both are exactly what they are trying to be: a motorcycle for Bucky's getaway and a jeep that Captain America hijacks to chase after the two (I do wish they had included a normal Shield agent here so that Captain America could literally hijack the jeep). The shooting bolt feature of the car is well integrated, but the actual use seems a bit off. The bolt can't aim upwards at Black Panther without physically tilting the car back, and Cap wouldn't be shooting at Bucky. The minifgures here are good to get, all three playing major roles in the movie. Black Panther especially looks exceptional. The head addition, the lines, the coloration, all capture the figure perfectly and showcase the design of the character in movie. Captain America is good to get, and having a new hairpiece for him is also very good. Bucky is an important character and the metal arm printing is also very nice
Overall, this set did not impress me espcially, but it had enough value to where I was happy to display it on my shelf. I think the set has good play value for younger kids who care much less about storylines and instead just want to play. Collectors will enjoy displaying it for those to see. However, for kids between the years of play and collecting, this set doesn't seem to scream value to parents.
There is only one slight modification I made, and it was to the minifigures. If you have any Ninjago sets, the half mask pieces look great when placed on Captain America and Bucky. A picture is included for reference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MidnightLuna Team Cap!!!! (SPOILERS)
Great set!!!! Black Panther looks SO COOL!!!! Cap's hair is... something these... I'm not sure where LEGO was going with it. I screamed with joy when I saw the Winter Soldier/Bucky!!!! I LOVED his Metal arm, it was so detailed and lifelike! I kinda wish he had a different head though... Star Lord face doesn't fit him that way.
The plane is awesome!!!! It was a bit hard with all the black... but great none the less!!
I don't get Cap's truck... that's not the one in the movie... And I'm quite disappointed. I wanted a normal car like the one in the movie, and I got this Taskforce thing... I guess it was for the end of the Car chase when their caught.
8/10! Some problems with the plane and reused head for Bucky (who's my favorite character), and the wrong car for this scene.
But I did like this set!!!1
