Rated 4 out of 5 by Lincoln STAR WARS!!!
If you like the First Order, get this set. The only complaint about it is that instead of the officer there should have been another normal First Order Stormtrooper. This is a good set but not that good for army building. I am waiting until the 8th Star Wars Movie is released because they might make a battle pack with more stormroopers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Zenlove Good Battle Pack, So-so Minifigures
I'll start by saying that for the target audience (children), this is a good battle pack. I cant really say anything about the set because its so basic, but that doesn't matter because the goal of a battle pack isn't to provide a extremely interesting build. Parents, if you buy this along with an opposing battle pack, I can only imagine your child will have a blast. Kids love minifigures, and having 8 to fight against each other is very fun, plus you get a little build to go with each side. Outstanding value, too, even in Canada where battle packs are 16 dollars, its still a good deal. I value minifigures at around 4 dollars each, so you're basically getting 80-120 pieces for free (depending on the battle pack). So in conclusion, this is great for kids.
However, for older fans of LEGO, this set is a little disappointing. Why, you ask? The problem is the minifigure selection. LEGO, please know this. Older fans of LEGO and even some kids buy battle packs to build armies, whether it be Stormtrooper or Rebel armies, and because of that, we want Rebels and Stormtroopers! You only give us 2 in this set. If I were to make this set, I would change the minifigures, and instead include 2 regular Stormtroopers, 1 Stormtrooper commander and 1 Heavy Trooper. If the set came with those minifigures, this would be a 5 star set.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Legomaster44 A "okay" set...
I try to make all my Lego reviews focus only on good things, like my review on the Millenium Falcon Force Awakens set. (Not much cons.) I think this review deserved mentioning cons though. This is set is somewhat boring, I love the minifigures, and they fit my Star Wars collection well, I had no First Order Stormtroopers so I appreciate this set for giving me a couple without having to buy something like Maz's castle. However, the reason I found it boring is because the blaster thing is hardly ever used in play, and it seems annoying for the Resistance Battle Pack to come with lots of awesome stuff, more parts and everything, while this set, same price but hardly has anything but a hunk of a blaster. I like the set, and am wondering if I should get a 2nd one or even a 3rd, just for the First Order members. This is a "okay" set, and I would recommend it to a friend just for the minifigures. Overall, this is my review on this Battle Pack, it is not a favorite set, but still nice for a Battle Pack, I guess.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BentWright Just the figures, please
I got this set for the New Order storm troopers and the relatively rare minifig of color. The two troopers have the same face print as the clone troopers in other sets. When the mini blasters/stud shooters first came out, I was excited to get a few--now I have so many I don't know what to do with them.
I didn't find anything particularly enjoyable about building the cannon, nor special about any of the parts. I would prefer to have another mini figure than the cannon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by fn2194 LEGO First Order Battle Pack
This is a very good set for little children who are just getting in to Star Wars and want to create a small army. This set like most other battle packs is great for minifigure collectors like myself. It is good to get a few extra Stormtroopers.
Lets get straight into it...
Starting with the minifigures, as I've already mentioned, I think it is great to get some stormtroopers in a inexpensive set like this one. I would although have proffered to have gotten two normal stormtroopers, one with a tacticle vest and a First Order Technician over the ones we have got. This would make it easier to create a bigger First Order army quicker. Nevertheless lets get to the minifigs he DO have: the ordinary Stormtrooper is well done and I appreciate it a lot, the First Order Stormtroopers are by far my new favourites. I reallly like the stormtrooper with the tacticle vest. It adds a bit of variety to an army. The Crew member is great and I like getting dark flesh coloured minifigures for a change. Last and rightfully least is the Technician who is very ordinary and I'm not such a big fan of his/her new helmet.
To the turret itself...
Its is small and includes some cool parts. It is small, maybe a bit too small but still playable which is important. The cannon is very small but as it is supposed to do in battle packs it is able to shoot which adds to the play factor...
All in all i like the set a lot I do think they could have made it a bit cheaper though. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to build an army and also to little children who like Star Wars and/or a re getting in to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ShadyVladimir Great army builder
This set is great for any army builder.
-Turbolaser is a great design. It looks pretty much the same as seen in the movie
-Minifigure printing on the stormtroopers is excellent and very detailed.
-I also like the different faces the minifigures have.
-The turbolaser cannon doesn't move all the way up, you can't point it to the sky.
-The studshooters have no value to older builders. I have also talked with little children who said they preferred the old realistic blasters. Please bring the old blaster back, even to the small sets.
-I wish i could have got more regular stormtroopers. Maybe replace one of the two other minifigures with a stormtrooper so i wouldn't have to buy so many of these.
Overall, this set is again a great product from lego. I wouldn't really complain much about anything. But seriously. Get rid of the studshooters lego.

Rated 3 out of 5 by brickdude2187 Good but could be better
-very nice looking minifigs
-would be better if it had 4 stormtroopers
-turbolaser is small
Overall it is a nice set but the stud shooters look nothing like real star wars weapons and it would be much better if it included the regular weapons. Resistance battle pack is better value and has a better minifig selection
