Rated 4 out of 5 by Arkhamknight102 Tremble before GRODD!!!
starting off this set is great for it's variety of minifigures. 5 minifigures including a big fig. the minifigures consist of new 52 batman and wonder woman, flash, classic captain cold and gorrila grodd. these minifigures are a must have if you are a flash fan. the build is awesometacular!! The bat-mech has good amount of features, I got carried away with the net shooter. the not-so invisible jet is pretty longer than i expected. I love the blue flames. the banana truck is awesome to play with. I used it as a weapon for grodd to throw it at the bat-mech. overall this is a really good set to play with or to display because of the bat-mech's posable joints. I would recomend this to a friend.

If there's one thing I can say with certainty about this set, it's that this set is fine. It's not mind-blowing, and it's not terrible. Let's get into why.
Now, the minifigures are the highlights, in my opinion. Captain Cold is comic-accurate and looks nice and menacing (with a pretty nice cold gun). Wonder Woman is good too, and it's unlikely we'll be getting another Flash for awhile (although the mask seems to come down a little low on his face, the overall design is simple but pretty good). Batman is Batman (I think the minifigure's fine, but a bit superfluous in a set based mostly on Flash villains). Gorilla Grodd is a pretty interesting big fig. I expected his mind control device to be a bit more intrusive, but the print is more subtle than I expected and, overall, it's pretty great. The terrified banana truck driver is well- if simply-designed, and although I would have preferred to have a smiling alternate face, I think I'll still give this guy a pass.
The vehicles are kind of hit or miss for me. The banana truck is nice and simple, and is built around an interesting and unique action feature. The invisible jet is a little oversimple in some parts, and I'm left wanting a little more out of it. It's smaller than the Green Lantern jet from the Green Lantern vs Sinestro set. I'm not sure what I would have done differently, but it does feel kind of odd. The Bat-Mech is decades better in real life; I had my doubts about it based on pictures and the like, and although it does have some design issues (the legs only move in and out rather than forward and back so walking motion is pretty restricted. The arms are also a little underwhelming, especially the arm with the net-shooter, which feels very uninspired and doesn't really work all that well), it's not horrible. Maybe a five or six out of ten in my opinion. The use of the super jumper as a sort of "base" in the cockpit is pretty interesting; I've got the dual-molded leg Batman from Jokerland so this super jumpered Batman is a permanent fixture in the cockpit, but if you want your minifigs in perfect condition, you can leave the super jumper out and just put Batman in as-is. It looks a bit goofy, but it's not atrocious. For comparison in terms of mechs, my favourite is the Hulk Buster; it feels a lot more "finished"; the cockpit is better concealed, the proportions feel right, and the hands look a lot less clunky and redundant.
I think the set's pretty average; aside from the decent minifigure selection and banana truck, it seems a lot of the set's grievances come from a lack of inspiration and a rushed feeling in general, perhaps caused by trying to stuff too much into a set that really didn't need that much to be fun. Nothing too crippling or unforgivable, but if you want a "finished" feeling set that isn't too gimmicky, maybe look elsewhere. I think the set could have been culled down to a much smaller set with the Flash, Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, and the truck driver and banana truck at a lower price frame.

Rated 4 out of 5 by BeefWellington Some Minor Flaws But Still Nice Set
This set has a few minor issues, but overall I still really like it.
First off, the Invisible Jet has no landing gear at all. I understand wanting to keep a jet that is supported to be invisible as low profile as possible, but I was surprised there was no landing gear. It just feels kind of odd to have the plane rest entirely on its belly.
Secondly, the "BananaCo" logo on the little truck is applied to a 1x3 tile that goes over a 1x4 space, so it's purposely askew of center. It looks odd and there's no functional reason for it. It should have been a 1x4 tile.
There are also some minor range of motion issues with the Bat-Mech; a few pieces that look cool but don't really do anything restrict the range of motion of the chest plate and the way the right arm is supposed to attach (according to the instructions and the picture above) restrict the range of motion of that arm. I attached the arm slightly differently and it moves much better and still looks right.
With all that being said, I still really like this set a lot. The jet's inverted wing design looks great and other than the landing gear issue, I think it's a great piece; plus it has those nice spring-fire missiles. The Bat-Mech is even better. FANTASTIC idea and concept behind it, and it's very well executed even with the minor range of motion issues described above. The arms and legs are very well articulated and stud shooters and net-launcher work nicely.
I also really like the minifigs in this set. Batman is pretty standard and the truck driver is generic other than the BananaCo logo on his clothes, but Wonder Woman, Flash, and Captain Cold are really nice. The moulds for their respective head pieces are great.
-Cool Invisible Jet
-Bat-Mech.... no really BAT-MECH!!!! Woo
-Jet has no landing gear
-Truck has off-center logo piece for no apparent reason
-Bat-Mech has minor range of motion issues
I would definitely recommend this set. Just don't expect it to be perfect. It's still very charming, despite it's flaws. And really, who among us can say we're perfect? :)

My 6-year-old son loved building this! (I don't remember how long it took him to build; maybe 3 hours?) I don't think I had to help him at all, either.

My son received this for Christmas & was VERY excited to put it together until he opened it & found one set of instructions were missing. Not a big deal we went online & got the instructions. However, he quickly realized that Gorilla Grod was also missing. He was NOT happy! I told him I would contact LEGO on Monday, since there was no one there over the holiday, & they would send him a replacement.
I went to order the part, & it's out of stock! Did you run out & just box the kits anyway? This was not an easy set to find, otherwise I would have just returned it to the store when he found the instructions were missing. If they were forgotten, what else was?

Rated 4 out of 5 by LEGOshopReview A fun LEGO set.
Had many good play values, Great figures, and big figure. Wonder women's jet was done amazing, the Bat-mech was alright, more of a play set then a piece set. I would recommend it!

Pretty neat robot, I like how the feet are able to move side to side as well as the normal up and down motion, it makes it easy to display. Even my 3 year old likes playing with it and she has dropped it about 2 feet and it stay in one piece.
