I have struggled for a long time to find trousers to fit my 12 year-old son. He is tall (5ft 9) and slim, with very long legs. Most makes stop the adjustable waists in the larger sizes, making it impossible to find a school trouser that fits in the leg but is small enough inthe waist. i have had to resort to buying a larger size and paying for alterations in the past. The school specifies charcoal grey trousers, which are also difficult to find. These trouser, bought for age 14, fit the bill perfectly. We may even get more than 1 term out of them! They are brilliant value for money and I won't have to pay for alterations. I hope that we manage to find a larger size in future as we still have 3 years left at school!

I bought my son these trousers for when he started nursery. He's small for his age so it was necessary to get trousers that were adjustable, and these are perfect! He's still in age2-3 jeans but I was able to alter these to fit well and unlike some brands the elasticated waist was easy to tighten.
The teflon coating is fabulous, never a mark on them! I also found it handy that instead of a button that some children can have trouble undoing these trousers had a clip.

Thanks Asda, delighted with your school trousers, I can't see any difference between them and skids three times the price. I am uncomfortable about the moral implications of garments of this price but the same issues are present with most high street retailers and I'm not wealthy enough to shop local/fair trade nor do I have the time or energy to make my own. The trousers are well constructed and well cut. They were clearly shown on the website with plenty of sizing info. They arrived promptly and well packed, the order was actually slightly cheaper than the already low price I had expected.

my son would go thru trousers at maybe a pair every two to three weeks but the asda trouser as long as he has a pair for every day will keep for a term if not longer. Also what you pay for 2 pairs anywhere decent you would get near enough your 5 pairs. Also the flexi fit is great as my son is really skinny but tall. Asda is where i will be buying my school trousers from now on.

Purchased for my 12 yr old son. The trousers have waist adjusters which is good for those with skinny waists but long legs. They wash well and, if tumble dried briefly on a warm setting, don't need to be ironed. I struggled to purchase charcoal trousers (which is what his school inisists on) and so I was delighted to find these. Even more delighted by the fact that they are incredibly good value for the little that they cost. The delivery service is also very good and very quick.

Being a mother of four, I have always used/purchased the different range of school uniforms over the years from George, Asda. They have always provided the extra lengths in the skirts and trousers, for the forever growing child to last the whole school year. Also with the teflon, and easy clean on their shirts makes the laundry life a breeze, as specially during the winter months, ensuring the daily smart look every morning.

Had to return these as the clip was too lose and would come undone. They kept coming undone while he was at school. Poor lad!! Exchanged no problem, but you shouldn't have to...
