Rated 1 out of 5 Worst school uniform purchase
I have just brought both my children all their school uniform on line from asda. I always try to get it from asda when it's in stock and in the past have always been pleased with it and still was for the majority of the items I brought. However the girls jersey school trousers were awful. I know they were not expensive but she prefers the stretchy pairs. They looked nothing like the picture and had no charm on them as listed in the description. They basically looked like boot cut jogging bottoms not school trousers they were very thin and fit badly with a baggy waist. I will b returning them to my nearest store and purchasing more from elsewhere .

Rated 4 out of 5 by JoJo1970s Very comfortable and good fit
Bought these in age 9-10 years for my 9 year old daughter and they fit perfectly. Considering all the other reviews I have to agree about the bobbling, but for the price its nothing that a set of hair clippers or razor won't remove. The only other thing I found wrong with them was that the stitching down the side seam hadn't been checked properly and she ended up with a hole after 2 days but again, I've got a sewing machine so was able to sort it. These are the only trousers I can find for my daughter that look like girls trousers and fit comfortably so, although the bobbling IS an issue, I will be buying these for her again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GYPSYCOB THE ONLY TROUSERS MY DAUGHTER WEARS FOR SCHOOL!
My daughter is tricky to buy clothes for at the best of times.
I lost count of how many pairs of normal school trousers I bought her, and she hated them all! They had zips and buttons, she thought they looked like boys trousers!!
I was losing my patience with her, until I discovered Asda's pull on stretchy trousers. She absolutely loves them and wears no other trousers for school.
They are such good value I always buy 3 or 4 pairs in her current size.
They wash fairly well, although when they do go a bit bobbly from the wash I find hairs stick to them, but that is the only downside they have.
Please Asda, NEVER stop making these trousers......well at least until my daughter leaves school in 3 years time!

Rated 4 out of 5 by kt87 Not the same ones I bought before
I was a bit disappointed when these arrived. To be fair if I hadn't brought these before I would be happy with them as they are good trousers for the price. But when I bought these roughly a year ago they were much thicker and better quality, they were more like jogging bottom trousers but with a nice boot cut design. I think maybe they didn't have lycra in previously. I haven't washed them yet but I think that being so much thinner material there might be a problem with bobbling. Still good value for money but it would have been nice to know they had changed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joby1 Great value trousers!
Both my little girls have these trousers for school, as they are 4 and 6 years old the elasticated waist style means they are easy for them to pull up without asking for help at school. The fabric is warm so great for the winter, they look smart for school, wash really well and dry on a radiator overnight. My 6 year old is well built and the fit is great they are easy to take up as well and don't fade at the bottom if they need to be let down after a growth spurt. And they love the little butterfly charm too, don't stop making these trousers Asda!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jen1518 school trousers - cheap + cheerful
these trousers are very well priced. they are well made, warm and comfortable. so why not a 5 star rating? well, they're designed i imagine for 'one size fits all', and the trouble then is that they fit no one well. my daughter is an average 10 year old but they are very baggy on her, and she's certainly no stick insect! they are fine as cheap school trousers and if your child fits them i imagine they're great. personally i thought them overlarge (waist, not length) and style less but hey at £3.00 i wasn't expecting versace!

Rated 1 out of 5 by HEEPS Thoroughly disappointed
These trousers, whilst only £3 are of shocking quality. I bought two pairs so can't even say maybe it was a one-off. The trousers come up extremely large around the waist - to the point that we've had to adjust them so they actually stay up. Our daughter is slim but these would have fit nearly two of her into them.
The worst point however is that after only a week of wearing them the trousers have the worst 'bobbling' on them I've ever known. Roll on half term so we can get to the shops for a better pair of trousers.

These trousers looked really smart on my daughter who has just started school and they were comfortable as well so bought 3 pairs. However, after about 2 weeks all three pairs have the worst bobbling on them ever. They have been washed at the lowest temp and line dried and they are still full of bobbles. Have now come back to Asda to purchase different trousers and found that the only trousers they have in my daughters size are these ones so I guess I'll have to shop elsewhere.
