This is a good product offered at an even better price. The quality is better than many more expensive school shirts. I initially purchased the age 7 to 8 for my 6.5yrs old DD but found this too small...couldn't fix the top button and the sleeves were also short. I couldn't exhange for the age 8 to 9 as there wasn't any in my local stores but I was able to buy using the clock and collect ser vice which was fab. The age 8 to 9 are a perfect fit. My DD is tall for her age so it is possible that your experience with the sizing will be entirely different.

School-wear - I purchased a pack of two long sleeve girls school blouses. The size I purchased was correct however when my daughter tried on one of the blouses, for comfort and fit, she was extremely unhappy with it. She told me it felt really uncomfortable. The sleeves were too tight and the material was uncomfortable (she described it as hard/scratchy) and promptly told me she would refuse to wear it because it was so uncomfortable.
Bearing in mind that my daughter would have to wear these blouses 5 days a week for a period of no less than 8 or 9 hours a day then I would absolutely expect and wish her to be wearing clothing that is fit for the purpose and above all, comfortable.
This product did not fit either criteria and I therefore returned it for a refund.

Hi I have just purchased this item for my 10 year old daughter to wear to School and I was very pleased with it when it arrived. It is great value for the money and I have washed the items several times and I am very pleased with the overall appearance and quality. I shall certainly be recommending it to my firends and family and shall be buying all my little girl's school stuff from George from now on. Thank you very much to George for making it both affordable and nice to shop there.

Easy to iron, perfect fit and you get two in one packet. I love it :) it was the first shop I thought of when my daughter asked me for a white shirt for a school performance, it arrived in time and she used one for the rehearsal and I don't have to worry about washing it right away, because the second one was there. I recommend Asda shirts to every one. They are well made and you don't have to stand in line at the cashier you can just order it on line.

Back to school and in need of shirts. First time buy for me. Happy with the overall apperance of them. Slightly transparent but for the price i won't grumble. Strong stiching so i imagine would survive my washing machine. Nice big breast pocket which is an absolute must, according to my youngest, lots of room for bubble gum... although i would recommend a couple of pens and a rubber would do. as long as they last till new year i'm happy.

These school blouses were excellent value, coming in a pack of two and being half the price of the ones I would normally purchase. They have washed brilliantly and hardly need ironing. They are nicely tailored and are of as good a quality as the more expensive school blouses I would normally purchase. Will certainly buy these from ASDA in future and would recommend to others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Musicmum Good value - but has fit changed?
My daughter wore these (age 15/16) during the school summer term, but on buying a new batch, in the same size, we find that they seem smaller. Not sure if the actual measurements have changed or if, maybe, the blouses are more fitted. Either way, they are too tight for my daughter, so they had to be returned.
However, they are still great value and I would recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by natkar1 not as good as i first thought
I already reviewed the short sleeve version of this product and thought it was wonderful. However, 2 weeks into the school term and the buttons are begining to fall off of all of them. Each day my daughter comes home with a button missing. The plus side is she is now learning to sew them back on if she notices when the come off that is.
