I operate a furniture home delivery operation and this item is superb. compact with good torque settings it helps my teams assemble items fast and efficiently. the battery holds it charge all day and the little light on it helps you in those awkward dark corners ensure you get the screw and not the wood.only drawback is it comes with only one battery, so you have no spare. i would recommend it to anyone who wants a good product at a very good price

Rated 5 out of 5 by SteveXYZ Good tool for home DIY
I have researched cordless drills for DIY and I found this one for a bargin price. I collected it within 2 days from local ASDA store. Drill looks well made. I am quite happy with it. I hope will last long and serve well. This year I have a lot of jobs in the garden and kitchen where it will be necessary. The other drills from internet and local DIY shops cost much more and I am not sure that for small jobs at home and about, they are worth paying more. The time will show. At the moment I am quite happy with this product and I can recommend it to other home owners who need to do some small fixings at home.

I was hesitate about the cordlesss drilldriver as only paid £19 for it after shopping online in various stores for a 14v cordless driver which were all priced £50+ but to my surprise it is a absolute gem.
the led light is a plus, the cordless drill does its job with no compromise and is perfect for the odd small jobs around the house...though it lacks a little power when it comes to more heavy duty work but for something like that you would really requrie a more 'power' tool than the cordless driver.
i have used it in some many different variations from, making the bed, built a wardrobe, fixed a broken side gate, drilled 2 shelf cabinets, even managed to put up a whole utility unit from ikea with the help of the draper cordless drilldriver.
great price and great value however the discount was only available online but that was no worries as i got it delivered to store and it came the next day..happy time.
thank you asda, keep it up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by hazeyscot Draper 14.4v cordless Drill Great Value
I bought this for my husband as a second drill just for around the house, he already owns a hammer drill, seems great for the everyday around the house jobs and being bright yellow he can spot it straight away in the shed. Draper is a good make and for the price the drill has a lot to offer, you can't go wrong. My Husband was well happy, very handy for me the wife to use to. It would have been nice to have a green light on the charger to indicate the battery is charged, but its not expensive so no problem.

Wasn't expecting much for £18 (20% on the day discount). But a name you can rely on, good weight with light and spirit bubble. It has tackled all tasks effortlessly so far and is holding charge well. A great addition to my toolkit, it replaces a more expensive brand whose batteries had given up and were too expensive to replace / refurb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rallydriver Quality cheap drill
I bought this as a back up to an existing Draper drill as it is cheaper to buy a new drill than try and buy a spare battery! They take some stick and have a reasonable battery life when in use. The torque is not bad for a cheaply priced drill and took out many long screws that had been driven into the floor to hold the battens in place.

I bought this combi drill on line and I went to Asda to pick it up and there it was. must admit I had my doubts. The staff were very pleasant and got the drill for me and I must say it works well and is just what we needed. Thank you for the ease of ordering and the choice to pick it up in my local Asda.
