Answer:
It's not that heavy but its ackward to carry i.e. you can't get your arm over the top and under. To carry it from one room to another or up/down stairs it would be better to have someone else lift it with you, but you can push/slide it across the carpet easily or drag it on a sheet across lino or wooden floor.

It's not that heavy...!

Answer:
No - just manual a large-ish and smaller phillips screwdriver is sufficent.

If you happen to already own an electric screwdriver then you can use it but you don't need to buy an electric one specially to build this.

It's fairly straightforward and easy to assemble.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 95 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Such a classy TV unit Black glass TV tables are totally useless for hiding all the cabling to the back of your TV, DVD player, Sky dish etc. We were delighted to find the Ancona unit. Not only did it have a solid back which hides all the wiring, but it matches our dining table and chairs, and other light oak units in our living room. Assembly took about a half hour. The drawers are well made, solid and deep with a huge capacity. The unit holds a 42" tv beautifully. It is such a tasteful unit - and at a very competitive price.Friends think it's solid Oak - I'm saying nothing....!! 26 November 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wasn't dissapointed I bought this tv stand to match the corner bookcase. Started to fix the tv stand up and what a nightmare! The holes in the wood for the runners to fix onto were in a totally different place to what they should of been. I have had to make my own holes which was a lot of messing about. Once all fixed up the draws don't sit 100% straight but luckily only noticeable close up. But evan though the fixings weren't brilliant, once built up it looks great, i thought it would of been too big but it fits nicely in the corner of my room Overall i am pleased with the purchase. 28 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value Bought this to sit under my tv which is on the wall. Quite a lot of bits and pieces to put it together but very sturdy once built and every piece is individually lettered so easy to build. Nice size, not too big, so doesn't take up too much space in a smaller room. Looks great! 10 December 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by The easiest flat packed item to assemble I found the instructions when putting this item together so easy. I've built plenty of flat packed furniture but this was by far the easiest to understand. I would definately recommend this unit to anyone, It looks great in our front room! 27 February 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Really good unit, quite easy to assemble, looks great, hides all tv wires at the back! Space for tv box, ps3/Xbox and extra drawer storage for DVDs, remotes etc. gret buy!! 25 February 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Looks good! TV unit looks good, especially if bought with other products in the range. Easy enough to build up if you're used to flat packed furniture and sturdy enough to hold our 46 inch TV. Plenty of room in the drawers beneath for DVDs or console games. We managed to fit 42 DVDs in each drawer! Overall, very pleased eith my purchase. Nice priced unit, but price reflects quality of materials (chipboard rather than real wood) and so only time will tell whether or not it will stand up to our 3 boys in and out of the drawers for DVDs. 14 March 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by An ok buy I bought this for my teenage son's bedroom. I laid all materials out on floor checked all was there then proceeded to put together.my sister callled in just as I started ,so she gave me a hand....2 hours later we completed it!! The instructions for the drawer runners were very complicated and had to try and figure it out for ourselves hence the length of time it took! The rest was pretty straight forward. Overall the quality is ok the edges were slightly rubbed so I'll need to colour it with pen or wax crayon to disguise it. You get what you pay for!! 05 March 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good item if you're on a budget Took two people around 2 hours to build and then we found the runners in the middle on either side of the drawer section were swapped over, we're pretty sure we followed the instructions exactly so think they were mis-labelled pieces. Was easily fixed. As many have mentioned the screws are not the best quality but that's what you get at this price. Looks great when done and will serve very well as a TV stand although is a little smaller than I would have liked. 18 January 2014
