I am slowly replacing all my old pine furniture with light oak but couldn't afford the tables at the moment. Bought these in the interim but wish I hadn't bothered- they are exceptionally poor. I know they are cheap but the veneer is so thin that there were two scratches on the large table top when I opened it that went right through! They were unneccessarily fiddly to put together and although we got the stickers to cover the metal work they are really noticable. Should have saved my money towards better ones. On top of that you have to pay for postage and I got a 2 day timeslot- between 8am one day and 8pm the next...rubbish.

I had bought the TV cabinet in this range and wanted to get the tables to complement it as they looked very nice online. However, just put them together, took quite some time considering the amount of pieces to assemble. Main reason is that it is extremely difficult to fix the screw and nuts together, poor design in this respect. They look nice but the veneer is very thin and in certain places it is already proud of the unit which means I will have to glue it down or return them. Usually I am happy with the items bought from ASDA, this is the exception and I would not recommend anyone buying them. Look for something a little dearer possibly as these I believe will not last very long. A poor investment.

Beware this set of tables, once put together, leaves 4 nasty big holes in each table underneath and the covers shown on the box to hide these nasty holes are NOT included. The picture on the front is not a true representation of how these tables will look. No Asda has not forgotten to include them its a case of finding something yourself and I have found this impossible.Naughty Asda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought these after redecorating our living room as they would match the oak television table we had bought a year ago.
Only 6 pieces to put together and fairly straightforward though I did find the bolts a little too short and getting the retaining nuts to "bite" took a bit if time. Got them assembled in around 25 mins.
As it turns out they looked too "chunky" for the living room so have been relegated to the hall, where they look perfect.

I bought these tables to go with the oak effect Ancona bookcase but really wish I hadn't bothered. The top of the big table was damaged so I exchanged it for another set and had the same problem again. The third set looked okay but the nuts and screws didn't match up so it was impossible to build. Will be returning tomorrow and won't be ordering a fourth set. So disappointed.

Assembly can be awkward - not easy to fasten nut onto bolt. Having said that still fairly quick and simple to put together. A few scratches here and there but for the money the tables make a very nice addition to the living room.

I bought this set of tables after seeing them made up in Asda's Hamilton Store. I'm really delighted with them. They're well made and both tables in the set are a good usable size. After getting my first set home and making them up I was so pleased with them that I went online and ordered another set. They were also so quick and easy to put together.

These tables are very solid and were easy to assemble. Although the stickers that cover the large holes do not stay on at all.
My product also had a dent on the inside table but not noticeable how we have it.
Good tables at an affordable price
