Rated 1 out of 5 by bwinter Very very hard to put together and easily snagged
The screws that come with this product are useless, they round off very quickly and make it impossible to screw them in.
The oak effect covering snags very easily - I hadn't even finished constructing mine before it had a snag on it, from only moving around a carpeted floor.
It now lies semi-constructed on the floor, until I buy some replacement better quality screws.
I wouldn't recommend this product, there is plenty of much cheaper similar products on the market that are a better quality, value and easier to construct! Very disappointed.

This was a present for my son as he has other units in the same range. They are flat pack but easy to asemble. They give the aperance that they are made fron thick wood and don't look cheap and nasty.
I thought the cost of delivery £9.95 was high compered vwith other internet providers. espesialy as there was no option to have the goods picked up from ASDA store

Rated 1 out of 5 by Swan8585 Disappointing to say the least
The number 1 problem with this product, as stated in other reviews, are the screws. They are a disgrace. A few turns and they are rendered completely useless.
The product looks good other than that, however it is very difficult to get a perfect appearance when you're working with inferior hardware.
DO NOT BUY (unless you are going to go out and buy your own screws to put it together!)

Rated 3 out of 5 by FlymoShank Versatile unit
Although I'm happy with the appearance and the fact in can be used in different combinations, my one problem was the screws used should have been round headed and an allen key used, it has been almost impossible to fully screw these in, even with an electric screwdriver!!
And one other thing.... I paid for a specified delivery date and neither of my products came on that day.

Rated 2 out of 5 Wouldn't have wanted to pay full price
I purchased these units while they were in the sale. When built they are quite sturdy, and I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised for the price, but the quality was disappointing. The veneer was peeling on a number of edges right out of the box, so this had to be glued back, and the gap between the two units if stacked in the same way as the pictures as not even all the way around. Though easy to assemble, the instructions are somewhat useless, showing fixings that do not exist, and pointing to dowels being installed in straight through holes where there should be screws, and vice versa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Claire29 Extremely good value for money!
Although this looked like a great item online, I was a little bit apprehensive about ordering after reading the reviews, regarding the difficulty some people experienced whisky assembling it...but I ordered anyway because the price was amazing! Anyway, the item arrived, and I thought I would have a go of putting it together without the help of my boyfriend..I should have not bothered to worry about it!! It was SIMPLE to assemble, all the screws, dowels, etc fitted perfectly, and I now have a sturdy, good quality, really lovely item in my living room. Looks way more expensive than it is and I am over the moon with it!! Xxx

Rated 4 out of 5 Difficult to Assemble
Although the finished product looked good the unit was difficult to assemble due to the incorrect instructions and the minimalist details on the assembly leaflet.
My husband and I checked the instructions before assembling. After about half a hour of trying to assemble it, without any joy, we realised that all the holes in which the dowels and screws were shown to go into on the instructions were acutally to go into the opposite holes, i.e. if it showed the dowel was to go into the left hole we needed to put it into the right hole as if we had followed the instructions the screws and dowels would have ended up in the same holes!
Also one of the long panels had to be attached to a smaller one and then attached to the base however when we attached this to the base it was lop-sided. This was because the instructions showed the smaller panel should be attached to the middle of the larger panel however the holes were not in the middle of the panel and you had to ensure the panel was turned the right way up/ down so that the middle panel was attached lower down so tht it didn't go lop-sided.
These were definately not the easiest instruction leaflet to follow but we got there in the end.
