Layers of richness with abundant marmalade, apricot and tangerine fruit flavours and a lingering minerality.

Vanilla and pineapple, creamy but dry, perfect for a sunny day, or wet one. An anytime wine but also delicious with food. Great price too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Derek6029 from GIVE IT A TRY Viognier is not as popular as other grapes such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay and I think that's a shame. There aren't many around and they tend to be more expensive than their more famous relatives. However Viognier is an interesting complex grape and well worth investigating. Zilzie is a fine example and at the price a bit of a bargain.
