Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding I wish I had bought this product years ago. This item is a wonderful aid to my washing machine. I can now do 3 loads of washing and-dry in no time at all. You will be amazed at the amount of water that is left in your washing when you start to use a spin dryer. I no longer have to double spin on my washing machine, this will cut down on the wear and tear and electricity coast of the tumble dryer. The spin dryer is small and neat (with a big heart) very light and can be stored away in a cupboard when not in use. I have placed a number of different items in mine, jumpers , towels and heavy jackets , It has stood up to the test nothing has been damaged. Well worth every penny. 19 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exactly what I needed My washing machine died just before Christmas and flooded my kitchen. As it was not a standard size, I knew I would not be able to acquire a new one for many weeks. My only option was to hand wash everything but sadly I could not get it dry due to such such bad weather. I read reviews on spin dryers and opted for this one from Asda. In short it has exceeded all my expectations. It is extremely easy to use and with a 2800 spin speed, my washing comes out almost dry. When I do eventually get a new washing machine I will still still use this spinner as many top of the range washers do not have such a high spin rate. Thank you! 30 December 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great buy at good price. I bought this to replace the Creda spindryer which I had for years. It holds slightly less than the Creda but is quieter in operation. I only use a 30C temp in my washing machine at which there isn't a high spin speed so I need an efficient spinner to supplement my washer. The White Knight does the job perfectly. My only slight complaint is that the opening lock was very stiff to begin with and as the instructions were inside the drum I was frightened I would break it! After a phone call to the Company I managed to open it although I did hurt my hand the first time as the spring mechanism is pretty "fierce" The service from Asda was first Class as was the speedy delivery. 21 April 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Buy This spin dryer is an absolute bargain from Asda, I always use it after taking my washing from the washiing machine, it takes that extra water from my wash with its 2800 rpm and that means shorter drying time especially in the awful weather we've been having this summer- my electric bills will benefit in the winter too as it cuts the tumble drying time significantly. I hand wash all my woollens and again don't have to struggle to wring out by hand and they ry in half the time. I would not be without it. 25 July 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by tumble dryer I really like the small size and shape of this product as it fits in well in my kitchen. It is fast and dries hand washed clothes very well. Although I have an automatic washer this machine is better for the spinning of individual items. Care has to be taken in the loading of the machine. If you dont it will rattle about until you stop and reload it. However you soon learn the method to use. Since buying the machine over a month ago I have used it every single day. It has made the organisation of my clothes much easier. I just love it and best of all it is cheap. 20 October 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Litle Helper I have taken on extra family washing for an elderly aunt. The weather is currently very warm but still I am using it every day. I have found it has taken the wear n tear away from my washing machine with the extra spinning required. Plus this spins alot faster so the wasking is drier when I hang it out. As for hand wasking it has been a blessing. It is small enough that I can carry it to the kitchen when needed, it is very stable when spinning so the water reaches the bucket not the floor! Don't know how I have managed managed without it! 27 May 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A worthwhile purchase We recently moved into a flat, leaving our tumble dryer behind. Combined with a washing machine with a very poor spin cycle (failed bearings), this has made washing and drying clothes a nightmare. This little White Knight (I say little, but it's a little bigger than I anticipated, and can fit plenty in) has been a life saver. It's only a spin dryer, so it doesn't actually get things /dry/, but it does wring enough water out that line drying works fine, or on an airing rack if not. The only real issue I've had with it is that it sometimes needs to be stopped and rebalanced - if you don't put enough washing in it, the inner drum bangs against the outer drum during speed up. It's small enough to tuck away when not in use (and light enough to move easily), but big enough to make it worth using. You probably can't fit a full washload in at once, but as it only takes about 3 minutes to wring out all it's going to wring out, its no great hardship to do two runs. 23 September 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Every home should have one. This is a really good buy, whether it's like me; for where space is at a premium, or if it's bought as an addition to your washing machine and/or tumble dryer. Washing is not completely dried although it is very close. So, washing doesn't need very long to dry out completely even on an airer. Its use also significantly cuts down on the need to use a tumble dryer and therefore saves on energy costs. Being compact and light it can be stored away and brought out when and where it is needed. A full washer load needs to be split into two loads for the spin dryer and about 3 minutes of spinning will remove around 400 - 500 ml of water per load depending on fabrics. That's up to a Litre or nearly 2 pints of water per washer load. This is based on my washer which has a 1200 rpm spin cycle. A great little product and good value. Every home should have one 20 October 2012

This spinner has a front drainage point about 6" from floor level. I collect water in a washing up bowl. No hose outlet.
