brilliant tablet, comes preinstalled for photoshop touch so is epic for photo editing right at your finger tips for free. Has a nice display very clear and bright. Love the s pen so easy and helpful love writing notes on it done a lot of brainstorming on it. Another good feature is that the speaker are at the front meaning the sound clarity is much better than tablets with speakers at the rear or sides. design is really nice in the white version love the bezel on the back, feels really smooth in the hands and surprisingly does not feel to heavy. Overall brilliant tablet would recommend to most people especially graphic designers and photography students.

Bought my galaxy note just before Christmas and just can.t put it down. Thing that sold it for me was the sheer versatility. Screen is fantastic, resolution is more than good enough for games, movies. S pen adds another dimension and is great for sketching and taking notes. Also brilliant for fine touch control and selecting small details on websites etc. Also love snote and the bundled office suite and photoshop app.
To cap it all, I just received the jelly bean upgrade and the speed and smoothness of it just blows me away. Forget about the overpriced ipad, this tablet is incredible.

I maybe writing this a bit early but who cares!! Only had it a day and it's blown my mind!! Was struggling to chose either the iPad or this, both parents have iPads and always bleat on about how good they are, but they don't compare. If you want something you can customise and requires a bit of common sense to operate this is the tablet you want to get! And for the price you pay for the iPad, it's not worth it.
I like to think of it as, the smarter mans' (or womans'!) IPad!!

After considering what tablet to go for. I took advice from a colleague and opted for this. It is so intuitive to use, I love the s-pen. My main pc hardly ever gets turned on now. I have had this product since October and it gets used every day. Battery life is great, even with heavy usage.
Having recently signed up with a movie streaming service it is disapointing not to have an HDMI output to connect direct to my TV

Rated 5 out of 5 by Southy Epic - simply amazing
As a clinician and an academic I spend my life drawing / emailing / note taking / presenting etc etc... this has made things so much easier. Lost a feature point because I'd like to have seen better sync for the calender (tab / mobile / online) - akin to the Blackberry Bridge. Also, you can only really buy accessories online because it seems that EVERYTHING is made for the iPad in the big electrical stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shima I love it.
It is so capable. Come back to where you left off so easily. Lasts a day or 2 of use. Snote is enjoyable to use and help get things done, updates like premium suite , jelly bean up to 4.1.2 makes it fantastic. Looking forward to more improvements. Need a suggestion line.
Inexpensive with the right deal. More than capable than the fruit we know so well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Impetus Extremely buggy
Purchased this tablet to aid in work as a research student. While the tablet itself is great, it failed to accurately run some key apps that are installed in it by default. SNote, which looks like a fantastic app with so many useful features that seem brilliant for anyone that needs to take a lot of notes, especially in the sciences, runs with so many bugs and unpredictable mistakes its barely usable. Lines randomly disappearing, then all coming back at once, the SNote is the buggiest thing I've ever seen installed by default on any device. Unfortunately, SNote is the app I bought the tablet for.
Other than that, it's what you'd expect from Samsung. Feels durable and sturdy, not too heavy or light, fantastic keyboard, accurate touch screen, well designed and excellent screen. Also, Photoshop Touch is a very classy app, which although difficult to use, manages to be as close to a fully functional Photoshop as you're ever likely to see on a tablet.
If you want this for note taking and productivity, I'd recommend looking at a different Samsung tablet. A Google search tells me this only happens on the N8010.
