Technically speaking this phone is better than my old computer! But there are three major features that I'd like Samsung to improve. First of all; the USB 2.0. I was expecting a USB 3.0 but I was disappointed. Second, it has no radio! This is a bit stunning. For such a modern device, lack of radio is really discrediting; I understand that there may be technological constraints still I recommend Samsung to do the necessary next time. For your information let me remind you that use of radio can sometimes be life saving! The third point is about the battery. Samsung please produce better capable batteries like the note 2! Overall it is a very nice phone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by K00sh Gimmicks switched off in first month and problems with email...otherwise ok phone
There are enough gushing reviews on the site so I will highlight my biggest gripes, the main one being that drafting an email is next to impossible due to a software glitch, the problem is highlighted here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHsBgoZHedw and is very very frustrating.
The eye control gimmick doesn't seem to work if you wear glasses, it tends to stop/start for no reason, switched the function off after a month.
One good surprise is how long the battery lasts. But the email issue, for someone that wants to use his phone for work, needs to be sorted out. Pleaseeeeeeeee Samsung fix this soon!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by JACK58 BRILLIANT BUT...
I upgraded to this phone last year and loved it until they ran an upgrade! I got this phone because I hate texting on a qwerty keyboard, I have very long nails and find it difficult and this was the only smartphone I could find that had an old fashioned 3 x 4 keyboard (like on the old phones!) Unfortunately after a couple of months of loving this phone they did an upgrade and lost the 3 x 4 keyboard. I now have difficulty texting with the qwerty keyboard and have tried downloading 3 x 4 keyboards but cant find one that is a 3 x 4 and does predictive text!! Other than that problem the phone is great!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Katy BS Excellent spec, major flaw - so called "Gorilla Glass" that I was assured was extremely durable, is the weakest screen I have ever known
I was impressed by this phone for less than a week, I placed the phone down on a table and when I picked it up the screen was cracked. The same screen that I was told was extremely durable much more so than the IPhone 5!! Absolute rubbish. Not only did it crack, but when it fell off my sofa onto the wooden floor the corner of the screen shattered.
Absolute Joke, will never touch a Samsung again and I loved my S2. For those of you thinking I have been been careless I can assure you it would be very difficult to still have this phone in working order at the end of your 2 years, DO NOT RISK IT.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Harry Very good phone all round
I have had Samsung Galaxy phones before, but this one is definitely the leading phone on the market and the one to have! I have had this phone less than a week and love it, it is a very attractive handset to look at although maybe slightly larger than expected, but with an amazing display this makes up for it.
I have only have a couple of problems, the phone is a little complicated to start with working the hundreds of settings apps that are already loaded onto the phone this is a big downfall. However over all this phone is very good and would recommend.
I hope Samsung have some updates though soon to sort out the glitches/problems with the phone freezing etc!
Well done though on a very good phone.

After owning a Galaxy S3 and being very happy, the S4 was the logical next step. However, there is very little difference between the S3 and S4. The S4 is full of features but, most of the new features are glitchy and do not work in the real world. My brand new S4 seems slower, lags and freezes more than my App packed old S3. The styling is near identical to the old S3 and they have stuck with the cheap plastic back, disappointing considering its direct competitors are now upping there game with aluminium. If I hadn't already sold my S3, I would take the S4 back and kept the 3!

1. The 2 buttons on either side of home screen should allow the user to be able to configure which screens he needs to open eg. Contacts, dialed tel numbers, internet, etc, user should be able to set up on his own or change later on
2. Search bar in contacts screen should be at the bottom, when search is required, the keyboard pops up above the search bar in the bottom, this make easy use for one hand and your thumb does not have to extend all the way to the top of the phone
Remember a phone is used most of the time for calls, and not for apps, apps are just accessories

Rated 3 out of 5 by loz@maxsound It`s ok but !
The s4 is a nice looking phone but to be honest that`s where it ends .I used this phone for about a week and found that it had - poor speaker volume when lying on its back , awful battery life which would NOT get me through a whole day no matter what I did with the settings , to much bloat ware making the lag a bit ( my moto g is much quicker than this phone ) and the wifi download speed is appalling ! Even though performance speeds show well on paper / bench tests etc the bloatware really slows this phone down and for what it costs there`s far better phones out there for much less .I really thought Samsung may have got it right by now with the s4 but it seems not and this I a genuine hand on heart review . Thank you.
