I got these to replace SLX 2.4GHz video sender. The 2.4GHz suffer from interference due to wireless internet that also uses 2.4GHz. The airways are simply jam packed of wireless signals. These use 5.8GHz and don't suffer from that interference. Please note, for that very reason though, wireless internet & laptops are starting to move over to 5.8GHz, so in a few years these may be useless also.

I purchased this product after upgrading my sky box to a sky+ box. My old AV sender just sent the picture but the sky remote control would not work.
The SLX was easy and quick to install and it works perfectly with the Sky+ remote.

Had previously purchased the 2.4GHz which was starting to suffer a lot of interference. Upgraded to this 5.8GHz and works perfectly with our sky + box and we no longer have any interference. Would highly recommend this product.

The picture quality obtained from this sender
was so poor it was unwatchable. The distance from sender to receiver was about 10m horizontally with very little obstructions. So I expected a very good quality picture
Some years ago bought a 2.4 GHz sender from ASDA. It worked fine and still does. If this model had still been stocked by ASDA I would have bought another one.
I returned the product to ASDA and was given a full refund.

Got it all set up easily, but it was a struggle to get a decent picture, and when we did , it was difficult to maintain it because the slightest change of position( dusting, opening curtains, children touching, etc.)with either the sender or the receiver caused chaos. In short, the thing was not positive enough so we reverted to holes in the wall, co-axial cable, and a Sky eye, PERFECT.
