I recently purchased this item after reading the reviews and was initially delighted with it. I came home from shopping and plonkded down bags in front of the microwave which touched the control knob and it began to cook with nothing in it. The control knob selects the time and also starts the machine. The slightest knock and it begins to cook buy itself. My cat jumped up on the work surface, lay down in front of the microwave and set it off cooking again.
If you have any children, consider buying a different product. That twiddly knob would be irresistable and all they have to do is apply slight pressure and its off cooking. The cooker does have a child lock, however this is for the door and doesnt prevent the microwave from starting.

First of all, this was a great priced item,it is silver,800w and reasonable capacity,so all good i thought
The bad come with a bang!!,not literally but i like to have things looking clean and and if you are the same beware the fingerprints on this mirrored baby!,you will constantly be cleaning the front,it does get very, very noticeable. This makes the ugly!
The button is fiddly and sensitive and cant work out how to defrost for less than 5 mins?,so have to watch all the time on defrost. It looks great when clean,is not obtrusive and heats well.

On a positive note, this looks nice and takes up little space, and is a bargain if you only have £40 to spend and you aren't fussy. Howver, I am fussy and I don't rate the product at all!. As per previous review, the mirrored front is impossible to keep clean. Also it is very fiddly to put in a time, such that if you want 6.5 minutes you can only turn the button or push the quick start in increments of 30 seconds, hence it takes forever. Also, the top is flimsy and the vents generate a lot of heat, so not ideal if it is right under the cabinet.

I have this microwave for just over 12 months ago.The paint on the interior has bubbled and peeled and now gone rusty. I always wipe my microwave aftre use. My last one was a Sharp one which i had for well over 15 yrs, I will be going back to Sharp.

I got this microwave 15 months ago, its been ok, but when it's finished cooking it beeps every couple of minutes till you press stop or take your food out. Its hard to keep the mirrored door clean and you can't programme a time unless you turn the knob which takes too long. The paint on the inside has bubbled and gone rusty so now I need a new one. It does a good job at heating and you can reduce the power by % which I liked. Wouldn't buy again

No problems with the ordering, notification and pick up!
However I did return the microwave, my own fault I thought it was a complete Stainless steel microwave not just the fascia!!
The return was easy, no quibble.

This M/W oven replaced aan Asda badged model which looks identical. Luckily the Russell Hobbs version has user friendly logic. it only squeaks on onitial button press, not every time a control is moved. One thing missing is timed de-frost. There is weight de-frost but it would help if you could select the time. One other point is that the interior light does not go off if the door is left open, ever. Other than that it does what you want a microwave oven to do, simply.

I thought that this is a brilliant product for the price! I haven't had any problems at all with it and it looks great in my kitchen!!! I even called the customer careline to order a new microwave plate when I smashed mine in the dishwasher and they were really helpful. Lovely service and a brilliant microwave. Bargain!
