Not the best iron we have had. It is very light and does not get very hot despite the 2400 watts power rating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Lisa Very Poor Quality Iron
I bought this Iron as an everday usage item.
This iron is appalling quality - it sticks to every type of fabric ( I have ruined 3 of my husbands good quality cotton work shirts so far!
You have to turn the heat right up & then immediately down, or it wont run over anything.
The steam / spray action makes it stick to fabric even more!
Absolutely appalling quality - I will never buy Russell Hobbs again.
Now researching a decent quality Iron.

Very good iron, bought it in the sale, but it does a very good job! Would recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ironingmaid Big mistake buying this iron
It does not glide over the fabric but skids causing creasing. Although cheap, I wish I had not bought it, as it has doubled my ironing time

Worst iron I have ever bought. I purchased this iron last month. It does not glide across the clothes and the steam delivery is not continuous or even very good. Unfortunately I will have to buy another iron I have never enjoyed ironing but this iron makes it even more frustrating than you could ever imagine.

Having worked in the dry cleaning trade I'm fussy about the products I use but after my old steam generator died suddenly I was forced to purchase a cheap iron quickly. Although I was not expecting wonders for my money after reading the details on the box this iron seemed more than good value for money. I was fooled by the good name and blurb on the box. This iron is utter rubbish and a complete waste of money. I followed the instructions on the box allowing the iron to heat up and then using and old price of fabric I rubbed the hot, steaming iron over it, instantly the iron stuck to the material and the more I ran the iron over the material the worse the sticking became, I checked the bottom of the iron and it was "black"'. The bottom of the iron was ruined and I had not even ironed one item of clothing. I tried to clean the iron plate but the material was burn onto it so solidly there was no way it was going to be cleaned off. Don't waste your money of this useless iron, spend that bit extra and get something decent......
