Attachments bend in use and should be rigid so that the required setting is obtained. Because the attachments bend - consistency of cut length is not obtained. I have two Remington personal groomers, one at home in Isle of Man which is excellent, hence the purchase of another, pioneer pg6500, for use in Spain. Because attachments bend when trimming a beard, I virtually scalped myself. I shall be looking to another manufacture unless a remedy is forthcoming.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MB1985 Versatile value for money
This groomer comes equipped with all manner of add-ons and gadgets for hair removal from head to toe and performs well across beard, ear, nose, back and arm (if required). The build quality is perhaps not up there with a bespoke beard trimmer for a similar cost and the charging dock feels a little on the flimsy side even if it is a nice touch, with space for all the add-ons but for the price, you really can't fault the versatility of this product. I've used this for the past few weeks and find it great if you want a clean shave but for texturing length of stubble it's a tad heavy handed - so my advice is to go up a number on what you normally would (ie: number 3 if you would normally go number 2). It's difficult to fault it for the money but if you're someone who really takes care over your designed stubble, you may want to look elsewhere! I would probably lean towards a three and a half star rating rather than four.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dragon Excellent results at value for money
I bought the Remmington PG6050 primarily to maintain and shape my facial hair. The product comes with a number of attachments suitable for different applications.
The kit comes with 5 attachment heads:
• Wide trimmer for sharp lines
• Detail trimmer for a closer trim (0.2 mm)
• Mini–foil shaver
• Linear body groomer
• Fine trimmer for nose, ear and eyebrows
All the attachments are easy to connect and remove with a simple twist action and can be stored the stand included in the pack which retains the kit together which makes it look smart and tidy if you decide to store it on show.
The trimmer produces good clear lines if you like to style your beard and the mini-foil shaver removes the hairs completely from those areas you want to keep clear. I have also used the body hair trimmer to trim the hair on my chest (as a treat for the wife!!!!) you can set the trim length to three different lengths depending on how much hair you want to keep. I set the trim length to the maximum length and the resultant cut provided a good trim removing hair easily and equally.
Overall I would rate the product highly. The materials used are a bit plasticy but the trimmer itself sits in the hand nicely and has a good weight to it. For the price of the product you certainly get value for money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by YesNieldy A sturdy budget trimmer with some good add-ons
This is a budget product so it's not going to perform as well or feel as well built as more expensive shavers - but is it `good enough'?
Well, kind of...
The first thing you notice is how well packaged this is, everything fits onto a moulded plastic base and it looks very impressive but once you remove the attachments and the main unit itself, you realise that it's very plastic feeling and not too sturdy. Once charged it performs alright though and the shave is impressively close - you may have to go over the same area a couple of times but there's no irritation and for the less hairy guys out there (like me) it does an adequate job. The attachments are a little bit flimsy and only just perform to an acceptable level, things which can be adjusted tend to adjust themselves through normal usage which can be a bit annoying if you end up switching shaving lengths and don't realise, nobody wants to look too uneven!
The range of blades is excellent, they will cover most grooming jobs from face to naughty bits but the convenience of the shaver is hampered by the fact that the battery lasts less than an hour and it can't be ran plugged into the mains - so if the battery dies halfway through making yourself look beautiful then you'll have to charge it for a while before you complete the job.
In a nutshell: I was going to give this 2 stars, but for the price this isn't that bad and is ideal as a travel set as everything is all kept in one tidy package. More expensive options will no doubt give better results in a more robust shaver, but this can still give a decent shave with some nice extra trimming options.
