Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but perhaps not as good as I hoped The game itself is very good and my daughter enjoys playing it, although for parents the "red rover, red rover, bring an x bone over" gets very repetitive. The age range published is a bit of an issue as it is listed as 3+ despite no small parts but my 3year & 2 month old daughter skipped straight to the "big dog" version of the game and is able to, in her words, "win" every time as she can sucessfully identify all the bones at worst 2nd time. I think I was expecting most of the bones to have letters on to help with reading them but the symbols & numbers are too easy for her. I am yet to try it as a multiplayer game with a group of kids, which I think is more what it was intended for, but think it might be a bit chaotic to say the least. 03 November 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing The Red Rover is unfortunately quite disappointing. There are not that many bones. We were hoping that it would be possible to teach a larger proportion of the alphabet, but there are only four letters. The most problematic feature however is that the bones are difficult to insert into the mouth. Many children will have difficulties with this and get quite frustrated trying to feed Rover. 29 December 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by red rover game the game its self is great, i think is a little misleading as it say learn ur shapes numbers and letter but there are only a couple of each, the only thing u do really learn are ur colours as there are only 10 bones, i think it would be much better if you was able to buy more bones 10 June 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Educational and Fun This is great fun with education entwined,a puppy without the mess one that learns you're children yet keeps them entertained, encourages playing together and who better but big kids joining in.It is worth buying even if only to see the smile on your children's face. 28 December 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Fun Christmas present for my 3 year old he loves it and finds it easy to start the game off on his own, he loves running around to find the bones, and its great for number, colour and shape recognition. 30 December 2012
