Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by A little Bargain!!! Really nice little DAB radio which does exactly what I want it to do. Set-up is the press of a button and away you go. Really pleased with my purchase. Only comment I would make is that if you want exceptional sound quality and lots of volume then you cannot expect to get that for this price but if you want a decent little DAB radio for the kitchen or your office then this is ideal. 16 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by DAB radio at a bargain price. Very pleasing size, shape & design with easy operation. Not HQ stereo sound from such a small speaker but still well acceptable & a very pleasant sound quality unbeatable at this price. Do not miss this bargain if you have a reasonable Digital radio coverage in your area. Highly recommended to all. 15 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A lovely little radio Has good sound and easy to use. Attractive to look at. 04 August 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not happy Too much bass, external speakers hum loud even though i tried 3 types, TV and other electrical items interfere with DAB . I thought that was impossible. had to return and buy the ASDA,s own make which was superb. This Polaroid looked great but performed bad.and the manual was difficult to say the least. 13 December 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the money Got this on sale. Easy to use, looks great in my kitchen. V happy 11 December 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent value Bought this radio for the kitchen and my work room, i love it, an excellent price and so easy to use, ASDA delivered it to me the next day , now that's what i call service, highly recommend 16 December 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great radio,at a bargain price. I was a little dubious about buying the radio, with it being so low in price. Well i'm so,so glad i did. The sound quality is spot on,and the design is sleek, compact and stylish, plus it's a doddle to set up. I love it. 16 December 2013

    Answer:
    Yes you can!

There are two features: one is alarm, one is sleep.

You can set the alarm, which will turn either a buzzer or radio station of your choice on at a certain time and off again at a certain time. So you can set it to play the radio from 15 minutes up to 90 minutes in duration. The alarm feature can be set to do this Daily, Once, Weekends or Weekdays. You can also choose the volume level it will play.

The sleep button also lets you set the radio to turn off to standby after a certain period of time. Again, you can have it play for 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. After that time, like the alarm, it will return to standby. Unlike the alarm, you need to press this button manually each time you want to use it. (Useful for playing radio at night to get to sleep; especially, if like me, you are prone to go to bed at different times.)

    Answer:
Yes, it runs on both mains or battery. It takes 4 AA batteries to play. The mains is by means of an adapter lead, which is included.
