Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Entry Level Budget Machine I wanted a cheap and cheerful TV to replace an old combi in the bedroom. I'd seen Polaroid electronic equipment on sale at Asda at reasonable prices, but being a bit of a snob, I disregarded them completely. However, as I wanted a TV for the bedroom and wasn't that bothered about brands, I decided to give the Polaroid a go. Firstly, it's a perfect size for the bedroom, looks good and is easy to set up. The smart apps are the usual suspects, but the devoted Netflix and YouTube buttons on the remote are a good idea. In terms of the picture, if you're fussy like me, you'll be less than impressed with the straight out of the box factory settings. I used a THX optimiser via a blu-ray disc and succeeded in getting a quite lovely picture. Ok, the free view picture quality doesn't set the world on fire, but it performs reasonably well. The only major gripe is the sound. Like all flat screen TVs, it'll make you want to cry, but I connected it to some computer speakers, via the headphone jack and it sounds great. All in all, for the money, I'm more than happy. Not half bad. 26 October 2014

I recently bought a Polaroid 3-22-led-14 from your Cheltenham shop, SPECIFICALLY because it has sleep timers on it. However, try as I might I cannot get the thing to switch on in the morning. It takes the data no problem, and at the preselected time, the standby light flashes a bit but nothing else. No picture, no sound, no nothing.
The handbook is as useful as a chocolate teapot and I can't find a more detailed one on line. Any ideas?

    Answer:
I attached the dongle to the USB port on the TV, followed the on-screen instructions via the menu and entered the wi-fi code on the back of my router. That worked fine for me!
