My first foray into smartphones was a BB9320 last year, after 6 months I realised BB phones were dead in the water in comparison to other phones. I've had a look at other smartphones but I found iPhones to be over-priced and restrictive, while Android phones seem to be hit and miss whether you get a good one or not. I ended up with the Lumia 520 as it was a nice price but offered everything I wanted. WP8 is a fantastic OS and I feel, better than all other phone OS's. Could not be happier with the phone. Battery life, apps, useability all top notch. Love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dave51 Good value easy to use
I had not given the Lumia a thought until I saw a display. Easy to use, I can find my way round much easier than previous phones (they were early Nokias). Only problems are minor - cant transfer data from my PC even though it is Windows 7. USB attached, downloaded stuff from web page - final instal box won't let me do it. Other issue - cant sound ring tones to sample (or is that me?) And it won't "locate my phone" even thuogh ticked. However, these ar negligable for the phone itself. Well worth the purchase, well done!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Umang520 Great Phone at a reasonable price.
he most economic phone w.r.t the features, whether be it hardware or software.
A fun packed device with all what u need.
Also the camera quality is awesome but just without the flash.
The feature of "Compass" was highly required to run the awesome app " Here City Lens" but even though without it, irs a complete pack with all the required features.
An awesone phone with a virtual dynamic interface (live tiles which makes it virtually dynamic).
The smoothest OS and no hangups even you exploit the phone to its max.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MWMWM I am a Nokia man!!
Always had them, and didn't want a clunky iPhone, (even if hey are prob the best for most things) The Nokia works sweetly with my PC, via Windows Live, and I get all my emails calendar events on both. The downside is that the Internet connection is much slower than Apple, (something to do with RAM size, I am told). Battery life is NOT brilliant but, if you're organized, it's not a major problem

Rated 2 out of 5 by boxingsurfer pretty average really
battery life is mediocre
email fonts are too big and cant be changed meaning that these phone are not suitable for business use because you only get about 4 emails on the screen, and most of the subject line is missing due to the oversized subject font
Lync client is a good idea, but its buggy and often crashes
theres still a lot of work to do with Win Mob

Got the phone to upgrade from my Windows 6.5 HTC phone. The New Office mobile is far more difficult to use than the older 6.5 version. eg Copying and pasting formulae in excel etc. I moved my spreadsheets from old phone to the new one but could not edit them without 1st hving to convert them to Office 2010 on my PC then copy them to my new phone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JoeDeath Great phone, poorly made.
The battery is loose, I'm not sure if it's hardware or software (possibly OS?) that causes the phone to turn off randomly without warning and sometimes it crashes for no reason.
Exclamation mark comes up on the screen randomly sometimes when I try to turn the phone on, I've reverted the phone to factory settings, hasn't fixed it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DannyChristie43 This is a real value for money product, That looks great and is available at an affordable price.
I am impressed with this mobile phone, having previously favoured other branded phones, I was impressed at how nokia and windows8 combined on a friends phone to allow email, social networking , media , office , apps, and xbox gaming features to be easily accessible in a simple start menu design, that also looks nice.
