    Description

This childhood classic has been delighting little ones for years, and is sure to give your family plenty of play value throughout the sunny summer and beyond. Cute and colourful, the Little Tikes Playhouse is a great addition to any garden, and will definitely encourage young homemakers out into the sunshine.

Made from sturdy, wipe down plastic, with double wall thickness, this amazing little house will withstand everything from those surprise summer showers to tea party spillages to rogue felt tip pens. Boisterous play is no problem for this built-to-last playhouse, and you can expect it to provide years of fun for the little tikes in your family.

Designed to look like a country cottage or hidden cabin in the woods, the Little Tikes Playhouse proudly boasts a bright red roof, green shuttered windows and a fun Dutch door. Added details like the clap board siding, green front doorstep, indoor 'brick' chimney breast and super cute 'stained glass' flower make it easy for kids to create their own imaginative world of mini home-ownership.

The playtime possibilities of the Little Tikes Playhouse are endless. Maybe they'll want to pretend to be just like mum and dad in their own little hideaway home? Or perhaps they'll venture into fairytale land with games of Goldilocks, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood or The Three Little Pigs? This simple, sturdy playhouse can become a cottage, a castle, a cafe, a doctors' surgery, a holiday home, a secret club house, a base for outdoor games or a private den. The only limit on what this playhouse can be used for is your child's imagination, and we all know that that is limitless!

    Features Included:

  • Detailed styling including double wall thickness, 'wood style' cladding, red tiled roof and chimney breast
  • With 2 green shuttered windows and a fun Dutch door for playing peek a boo or hiding away
  • Sturdy plastic construction wipes clean for easy maintenance - this toy is built to last for years!

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product and price Please don't be put off by the comments "need to drill pilot holes" etc. you really don't need to if you have access to an electric screw driver. It honestly took 10 mins to build and I am no DIYer that's for sure! Simply pop the sections together and when it comes to fixing the roof...Use the electric screwdriver to drive the screws in. make sure you hold the roof wall sections together whilst doing this so you get a snug fit! The quality is excellent and close to the best out there for strength. So much better than those flimsy ones out there and for half the price!! 18 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by The kids love it Not the 'easiest' of things to put together, as it needed a fair bit of brute force to get the door to slot into the holes (the 'hinge' pins appeared slightly tapered and too large to drop all the way into the holes), which has left the door a bit stiff to move. I'm sure this will wear in over time, so it's not that much of a concern. Also, the roof needed to be screwed down as per the instructions (with the screws supplied), but I had to actually drill some pilot holes as the screws were not sharp enough to cut into the rigid plastic by themselves. Again, not an issue if you're a bit 'DIY-minded'. Once it was put together, the kids just love playing in it. As a bonus, they also love the big cardboard box it came in too!! 07 April 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great value but only for a good handyman This was much bigger than I expected, but wasnt the easiest to put together. My hysband is very handy fortunately, but if I had been on my own, would have been sending it back. The door didnt fit or open, so he had to shave some plastic off to make it fit & is still quite stiff now (hoping it will get easier over time). And as others have mentioned you have to drill holes to keep the roof on properly & even then there is still a small gap. Overall poorly made to fit together, but once it does its a great value house, fraction of the cost elsewhere, my little boy loves it. But only if you're handy with DIY I'd say. 20 April 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value, good quality Excellent value so much cheaper than other houses without noticeable difference in size. Only problem is roof has to be screwed in but there are no holes and it isn't obvious where it is meant to screw into. Having looked online it seems to be a common problem with LT play houses. Delivery was really quick. 11 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful purchase Our grandson saw one in the store, and couldn't be prised from it. Looking around, Asda was the cheapest by a massive margin, online ordering took around two minutes, and it arrived quickly. It's a simple plastic toy, needs two to fit together, but is sturdy, bright and weatherproof. Well worth it 01 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap! Great product from little tikes! However awesome price from Asda!! Extremely easy to put up. Basically slots together, took 10-20 minutes to erect, only pain I'm the bum was having to screw the roof on, got my hubby to do it. Very sturdy, door a little stiff, my 2 year old loves it. 24 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great toddler play house We needed a little play house for the 1 to 4 year olds and the size of this one is perfect for them and our small garden. Simple to put together, didn't take long, only pain is roof needs securing on with screws but you have to make your own screw holes. 03 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Great purchase If you have a garden and want to encourage your kids to spend some time out, this is a perfect gift. They will enjoy having a personal and exclusive space, which also looks very nice. It was very simple to put the walls and the door together, but a bit complicated to fix the roof: no holes are provided and you will need a drill and a lot of patience, as you will have to work in a very narrow space. All in all the product is very nice looking, colourful, sturdy and durable. I strongly recommend it. 12 July 2014

    Answer:
No floor, which is a bit of problem with ants, but when it rains at least it doesn't collect in it, as it has openings. We are trying an off cut of carpet under it and bringing the carpet in at night.
