Smaller than I had imagined but gives room for baby to cruise a bit and small enough that it offers a safe space for baby to play which can be used in smaller homes.
Fairly heavy-limits portability.
Nice thick mat- comfy and warm for baby on laminate/tile floor.
Poor quality of fixings at hinges to set angle between panels-in some the allen key can't be turned, in others the hinge will still move even when tightened. As the weight makes it quite sturdy I don't think this is an issue, but then when a toddler is hanging off the bars greater security would probably be appreciated!

What a brilliant product. I knew my cheeky 9 month old wouldn't love it, but we bought it out of necessity so that I could have a quick shower, wash some dishes, or do just about anything for 10 minutes without stressing about where my baby had disappeared to. And about 10-15 mins seems her limit before she gets fed up being trapped inside - but all babies are different. A strong product that assists standing/walking, as my daughter holds herself up onto the railings. And ASDA offered the cheapest price we had seen anywhere (online, or other) so we were thrilled. Thanks ASDA!

This is a fantastic buy and cheaper than any other online store at the time I purcased. It can make a fixed shape or used to surround a fire or equivalent hazard. I used to watch my son confidently using the bars on his cot to cruise when learning to walk. This play pen alongside the cot meant he could cruise around a much larger area confidently hanging onto the bars. My friends daughter also has this exact playpen and we both attribute fast walking development to this product giving the children such a good opportunity to walk around it. I don't use the soft mat inside as carpet provides a flat surface for walking practise. I think this is a brilliant product because it also folds away for transporting to the grandparents house!

I'm using this as a room divider and it is absolutely fantastic. The product is far better and easier to put together, dismantle etc than some other more expensive models out there. It comes with the wall fixing kit, which is a separate cost on other models. It's a great product at a great price from Asda.

I bought this as a play pen for my 10 month old daughter who was starting to crawl. She was constantly getting under the computer desk and pulling the wires. I couldn't walk out of the room for two minutes to make her bottles! My mother in law had one and swore by it so I decided to take a chance. At first she hated being in it after being free to go wherever she wanted. After a few hours she was happy to go in to it and play with her toys. I have only had this a few weeks and already she has learned to pull herself up onto her feet using the bars and can also walk around the play pen holding onto the bars. It's very easy to fold down, however, I got annoyed with this very quickly and it's now just left up all the time. Mine came with the wall brackets to make it a room divider. I haven't used these yet but they look really easy to fit. I would recommend this to anyone who has kids or dogs.

The play pen seems fine for what it's meant for. Bubs doesn't overly like it as she generally gets put there when I'm leaving the room to cook or whatever, but as a safe pen when your bubs/toddler can't stray, it's great. The base mattress seems a tiny bit small for the pen, so you really have to pull on the ties to get it attached, and I fear these will eventually come detached. Having said that, for now it's all fine, the mattress is nice and soft (so she often has a wee snooze on it) and it's an affordable safe play pen, with a gate that's easy to open, but nigh on impossible for bubs to figure out!
