Rated 5 out of 5 by TechnicalHuman Very Functional and Unique Set
The Cargo Plane is something new to the Technic Line. We have not seen any large motorized Technic Aircraft before. For a 1300 piece set the Price very reasonable. The finished product is really large, has good proportions and has a ton of Functionality. It has a mix of mechanical and motorized functions that are completely real. As a parts pack for your MOC's , this set would not be my top pick because as it is a plane you don't get suspension and drive train parts, but you do get many white panels and beams. The functions work splendidly and I would really recommend this set . The only problem that you can have is the price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve42 Even better than the mobile crane!
Having recently completed the Technic mobile crane I wasn't sure if this would be a bit of a let down, but I was pleasantly surprised by this model.
The build has some really challenging areas and more than once I found myself backtracking to a mistake! Fortunately the finished model worked perfectly and I was really impressed by the functions such as the undercarriage release. It was larger than I expected too and really good value. The only bit I might criticise is the number of stickers but this really is just being picky. It also builds a hovercraft which I haven't tried yet. A wonderful model and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BMWheels Excellent Product
First off, it looks great and it is very rigid when you pick it up doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart. The Power Functions features are great as well as the added manual features. There is enough room in the back to put some cargo in if you wanted to, but it would probably need to be in a crate so the pieces can't fall into the gears. A nice feature is that you can use your engines AND raise / lower you gear at the same time. However I would recommend this to Intermediate - Expert Technic builders

Rated 5 out of 5 by LegoRichard Massive Plane that is bigger than big
This is a great building experience. Within the plane the battery box is hidden quite nicely. All motorized functions, the front and back opening of the cargo areas are nice but the lowering and covering of the wheels is a pleasure for the eye.
The handmate controlled functions are great fun playing after the plane is finished, just as the motorized ones.
This is not only great fun building but also great fun playing afterwards, and that says someone who does not play that much anymore (considering my age).
The overall impression is that this is a very big aeroplane, overall how it takes its volume in space with the shape it has makes it even more bigger from many view points.
This is not a miniature, it is a bigature... to be recommended for everyone that likes planes or big LEGO structures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrHanky Excellent kit
Finally got back into Lego last year as loved it as a kid but only ever had one Technics kit.
So last year got myself a Unimog to build which was excellent.
In comparison to the Unimog this kit was a bit less complicated and a lot quicker to build. Thoroughly enjoyed it though and would recommend to others.
I wasn't sure if the power functions were included at first as I had read reviews saying that they weren't. The kit I bought certainly came with everything needed.
My favourite part of this kit is the control of the tale rudders and wing flaps (not sure on exact name) and the landing gear.
Only things I would change on this kit is actually making the closing and opening of the power function enabled parts slower. The the small movement that happens I think the gearing is too fast IMO.
Now onto my next kit which is the Volvo remote controlled digger :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by GREATGRANDAD Model 42025
Lego engineers/designers are to be congratulated on producing a very advanced model, with multi-function capabilities. I have been a LEGO fan for over 50 years, introducing my children to the products, and having as much fun myself. I find the building of your more advanced models as very theapeutic, and building this plane is the very best I have attempted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dudley Second Great Lego Experience
This was my second Lego kit after 70814. This airplane was fantastic and I had a great time putting it together. Only had to backtrack once to correct a minor mistake. The directions were easy to follow but the kit was challenging to the point of enjoyment. Reading all the reviews helped me select this model and it appears everyone was right. Have just received the crane and look forward to more Technic kits.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LoudMusic Fun set - good piece selection
For people who buy / build Lego sets for the included instructions it's pretty great. I built the airplane in a few hours and my 9 year old nephew played with it for the rest of the day. The build was a bit out of his league but the Power Functions were a pretty big hit.
I've always been anti-stickers. The Lego culture seems to be split into two camps on that one. I have not applied the stickers.
As for the parts, it seems to have a great selection of beams, axles, and gears, along with the motor and battery pack. And it's white Technic - isn't that a rarity? I'm looking forward to tearing it down and mixing it in with my existing Technic to build something new.
My Technic experience is fairly limited, owning only the Williams Racer and the 1:10 Ferrari racer, but I grew up building complex Technic creations at a friend's house 20 years ago. Just trying to rekindle some of my childhood ;)
