Rated 4 out of 5 by EpicBOSS505 Giant and amazing set!!!
This was one of the best sets I ever had! And the largest! This is an awesome set, great for playing, and massive, so you can make a real party in it like in the movie! But here are some cons to this:
1. The roof comes off too easily.
2. It doesn't come with that many minifigures, I was expecting it to be a bit more accurate and have more random minifigures to make it like there really is a party going on in there.
3. The cannon is really bad at firing long-range distances, or at least medium-range.
4. The kitchen isn't as awesome as it was in the old version.
5. The sand skiff and Sarlacc Pit are separate from this, unlike the old version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Paris Mixed feelings with this one
This is a good set if you don't have the original, which is so expensive to buy now. The minifigures are better and it's quite versatile. My main gripe though is the front end which doesn't have the authenticity of the original and should have been steeper and more faithful to the film (the front canon is a nice touch though). Usually the most upto date Lego sets tend to better the originals, but I'm not so sure about this one. It is also rather pricey too, and you have to purchase the skiff set separately for it to make sense, but overall it's worth buying if you're a big Star Wars fan and don't have the original set (and even deeper pockets to buy one!).

the remade version is smaller than the original 2006 set, and yet costs more money, the original set came with a skiff, and the sarlacc. This one doesn't have those but they come in another set for twenty more dollars, but those are bigger. and the original 2006 set came with more people like Luke, Han, and Boba Fett. The interior of the barge is about the same, except the original has an armory. I like the set, but the only thing that bugs me is that this set costs more than the original did back in 2006 when you would buy it new. But, to buy the original now probably costs a fortune, this is probably your only option to buy. The only reason I would recommend is for you to save money.

Rated 4 out of 5 Pretty sweet!
There were some interesting parts to this ship and definitely many things I like about this set. The back panelling , Max Rebo's piano, and the sail size leaves some to be desiring but there is no regret here. Ree-Yees has a sweet head too. I was a little taken back about the build until I finished it and really loved it.
Ignore people are just comparing this set to the old one. This new set comes with 69 more pieces AND all those pieces are dedicated to the Barge instead of being spread out to a desert skiff and sarlaac (which have their own sets and look much better detailed than the old one). It actually looks sleaker and more closely resembles the barge from the movies than the previous one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chrispy My jabba the Hutt collection is finally complete
This set is pretty sweet and i love how you can put this set together with the 2012 desert skiff set like in the poster. This set is way better than the original version. My two favorite minifigs are Max Reebo and Ree Yees the others are okay and its good to have another Jabba the Hutt. The only con is that its 20 dollars overpriced. I would also say that its my second favorite out of the four other Jabba the Hutt sets, my first being the desert skiff.
so overall I'd give this set a 75/100 only because of the price and also I kind of wish the sails weren't plastic.
Pros: awesome Sail Barge, cool minifigs, the wheels on the bottom for better playability, awesome play features.
Cons: price, plastic sails

Let me first say that I do not have the set for now! This review is just based out of multiple video reviews about this set!
This sail barge looks amazing although it still does have some cons to it. I'd rather buy this set to play with it than to put it on a shelf and look at it. It goes extremely well with the desert skiff set and does an amazing job to recreate the "great pit of Carkoon" scene in Star Wars episode VI. The set is very nice and also has some pretty cool minifigures such as Max Reebo and Weequay. It has lots of play features but also lots of stickers...
-Size (yes, I know the older one is bigger but this one is still quite big).
-Lots and lots of stickers :(
-Needs MOAR minifigs

I built this and placed it next to the older model first before I made any decision on whether I liked this or not. I already knew I was going to buy it just for the figures. Overall, not a step forward in my opinion. I played with the features on both (ignoring the skiff and Sarlac on the old model). I add figures to both decks, moved them around and overall found that the Playability is not as high, fun on the newer model. additionally the plastic sails gave it a cheap feel.
Pros: Great figures: Relatively good assortment of Reddish Brown blocks.
Cons: Plastic sails - not cloth: Price (this is not a set I would keep or mod so it is basically a 120.00 PAB)
Bottom Line: Wait for this to go on sale or buy the figures on bricklink to save some money unless you need to refill your reddish brown block supply.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jazz23 DECENT LEGO STAR WARS SET !!!!
It is a good Lego set but I have a lot of complaints to it. I'm glad we got an updated version of jabba's sail barge but I'm kind of disappointed because I like the original one the best out if both. The old one was longer and the front does look like a perfectly straight ramp like the new one and the old one was actually movie accurate. PROS are the figures and the accessories. CONS are the amount of figures and the front of the ship and the price is way to high for this set.
