Rated 5 out of 5 by Bring in the cavarly! I picked up this set as a starter to do my own castle side project moc. Perfect set for what I wanted and the price. I built the model as the lego movie set 1st and then the castle gate second. I think younger builders will get a kick out of the lego movie version a fun different little set. Myself I love the detail in the gate version a lot more. Nice mini figs Im not sure how the actress fits in but the 2 knights are very nice. Only down side for me was no lego swords, how can there be lego knights without swords? Pro 2 sets in 1 Awsome lego knights Different unique lego movie set Great detail Cons No lego swords! 03 January 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by "Damsel In Distress At Six O' Clock!" "Don't lose her!". Man, being a knight is not easy. But it is fun when you're flying a podracer-like contraption made out of a castle gate! WOO-HOO! I admit, I haven't bought any of the Castle-themed sets yet. But this set makes me want to buy one and turn it into a bi-plane with the swords made into propellers. This set gives me those kinds of ideas. I really like how there's a 2 in 1 function to this set. It gives you more imagination that way. The wheels on what I guess are turbines spin, the crossbows swivel left and right, and it has flick-fire missiles! Overall, this is by far my favourite set out of the The LEGO® Movie line. Until I buy another one to review. 17 February 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Looks great, but hard for young kids My son got this for his 9 year old birthday yesterday, and he usually has no problem putting together sets from Lego that tie-in with their shows. This one he needed help with several times, and like many of their tie-in sets it does not hold up to a young boy playing with it. In the 20 minutes my son has played with it this morning, it has broken 3 times. The towers break off easily, and the castle doors break off frequently. It's been the cause of many tears this morning as the ship breaks as he plays with his brother. 05 March 2014
