Rated 4 out of 5 by amazed78 TLM: Super Cycle Chase
Super Cycle Chase (70808) is the first The Lego Movie themed set that I've built. The set includes two vehicles: an orange dragster motorcycle and a black-and-white SWAT police car, and five minifigures: Emmet, Wyldstyle, and three of President Business' minions (Robo SWATs), two of which have the same face but all come with different accessories. My personal favourite of the minifigures is definitely Wyldstyle and she is the reason I chose this particular set. The set also includes a roll-out spike strip which the Robo SWATs can use to try and stop Emmet and Wyldstyle from escaping their capture. And for the average sticker-loving ham-fisted Lego fan there is the bonus feature of 20 stickers (some of which are really really small).
Both vehicles have a very futuristic look and are completely different from, say, Lego City themed vehicles. The police car is a very big and ominous-looking contraption which can house all three Robo SWATs if their weaponry is loaded into the "secret compartment" i.e. trunk (which already has some dynamite in it). If in a hurry, the Robo SWATs can hold on to the two vertical gray bars that are attached to the sides of the police car and blast away with their guns while the car is doing top speed (naturally without breaking the double windscreens). My favorite part of the cop car is probably the four gigantic wheels and their rims - or possibly the two huge air scoops on the hood.
Wyldstyle's orange dragster bike is even more futuristic than the chunky cop car. The front wheel is so unique that one has to see it in real life to believe it can exist. The back wheel consist mostly of Technic parts and the majority of its build time is consumed by linking together 20 black link treads (element id 6047885) that are more commonly used in bulldozers and suchlike. But these parts are the reason why the bike makes such a fun rumbling noise when played with. My favorite part of the bike is the two-tone flames coming out of the exhaust pipes.
However, the review would not be complete without some criticism. The police car is a bit wide for the standard Lego road plates (I suppose this is intentional). The roof of the car is a bit difficult to attach and the car doesn't have opening doors. I also managed to break off one of the rear-wheel mudguards since they are attached to the body by only two studs. The hidden flick-missiles are also better suited for the fingers of a child than those of an adult (which is actually not a surprise or a flaw at all). I also noticed that the mechanism for the roll-out spike strip is slightly unreliable, but this can be rectified by using some manual labor (i.e. a slight push of a finger).
The dragster bike, too, has some parts that are a bit flimsily attached and may detach easily. The parabola pieces (4211512) next to the cockpit are a fine example of this. I, personally, managed to break them off a few times even before I had finished building the bike. The orange 1x4 bricks with bows (right next to the parabola pieces) are only attached to the frame of the bike by one stud. In my opinion, the light sword blade used as the axle for the front wheel is a bit short for the job since it isn't long enough to go through the parabola pieces on the outside of the wheel. I also experienced some trouble trying to get Wyldstyle sitting properly while still holding on to the handlebars of the bike.
Other than these minor points, Super Cycle Chase is a sub-zero cool set for those who are Lego fans and/or are fans of The Lego Movie.

Rated 4 out of 5 by thundercracker Awesome Pieces
This is by far, the best THE LEGO MOVIE set that I have ever gotten.
To start off, I got it last year when THE LEGO MOVIE was in theaters. It was hot off the shelf and I was so excited to have it. I built the SWAT car and the Super Cycle (I nicknamed it the Recycle :) and kept them put together for a long time because they were so playable (in my house LEGO doesn't stay together for long, there's always so many uses for so few pieces). They worked great with my city and they looked good too.
First up- the SWAT car. I love it's bulky look and it's "hidden" storage compartment. It was the first vehicle I've gotten that could have two minifigures sitting side by side in the front. It had more than enough room for the guys to ride inside, and it was easy enough to get them in and out. It was pretty sturdy, but the swamp lights on the top of the roof kept getting knocked off. And sometimes, during really high-speed chases, the bumper would fall off. But other than that, it was a sturdy 'car'.
I loved the flick missiles! Even though I never used them (sure, I tried them out once or twice, but I'm not a fan of artillery or guns or anything like that), but they were a cool little add-on. And the fact that they were hidden under the running boards was even better!
It took me a while to build it, mostly because of the tiny pieces (that's why the set has such a high piece count, it's mostly 1x2 plates and 1x1 plates); it was challenging enough to make it interesting but not so hard that it had me frustrated!
It was a really good design and the stickers were enough to make it interesting, but they were subtle enough that they didn’t make it look to flashy. The best thing about the SWAT car was the oversized look and the chunky tires. Those tires really spoke to me. That's why this was my favourite vehicle out of the two that came in the set.
Next- the Super Cycle. I love how this thing is orange. You don't see many colourful vehicles in LEGO, and orange is definitely an exception. I think the designers had fun coming up with this one! I'm still not quite sure what it's supposed to be, a motorcycle, or a flying type thing, but whatever it is, it was certainly interesting!
I loved the fire coming out of the back! Unfortunately, that's why I took it apart soon after getting it- those flame pieces hit the top of my most used pieces list ;D But on the Super Cycle, they made it look really hot and super fast!
I also loved the seating capacity! If you took the red brick off of Emmet's back and arranged things just so, you could fit another friend besides Wyldstyle in- so that made 3!
Another thing that I loved about this vehicle was all the sweet stickers. The cherry one and the graffiti ones were my favourites. I think that the designers should have made the blue Wyldstyle's signature blue, and they should have added her signature pink, too, but that's just my preference :)
And I loved loved LOVED the back wheel on this thing! The track fastened around the over-sized gear? So awesome! I don't know why, but it was my favourite thing on the Super Cycle! Overall, this was a great vehicle, but I still liked the SWAT car better. I’m classifying the spike strip with the SWAT car, because it’s obviously for the bad guys. It’s not big enough to drive over, really, and it kept falling over when I did have it set up. I finally took it apart, and used the track pieces, along with the track pieces from the back ‘tire’ of the Super Cycle, to build a raider of some sort. But it was a cool little add-on, and the extra track pieces were a bonus.
Finally, the awesome minifigures. The Robo-Swats kind of freaked me out, but their outfits were really cool. I just swapped out their robot heads for regular heads and left the grey hands as 'gloves'. The guns were okay, I took the lights off the top and I'm still playing with these guys today.
Emmet is awesome. That's what he is- awesome. I love his face, hair-piece, outfit, and everything about him- except for the red brick clipped onto his back. After a couple of days, I took The Piece of Resistance off and never put it on him again, unless he was going to some special award ceremony or something.
Wyldstyle was sweet! I love her hairpiece and outfit, but I'm not crazy about her face. I liked her Wild West face better, but at least this face is reversible. Overall, she was ok. Her outfit was a bit over-the-top with the graffiti and all that, and the hood was a bit bulky, but I still liked it.
Overall, this was a great set and I loved it. It should have come with the brick separator like the picture showed, and less tiny pieces would have been nice, but still, I'm so glad that I got it. I am still enjoying the pieces and minifigures that it came with and will for many more years to come!

Rated 5 out of 5 by User12545 One of the Best Movie Sets Released!!!
Out of all the movie sets in the first wave this one is by far one of the best!! The build was quick but enjoyable. The super cycle was the most fun to build, interesting techniques and a decent size. Not exactly like the model in the movie but very close!! Unfortunately Bad Cop isn't in here but we do have Emmet and Wyldstyle!! Very nice minifigures. Decently sturdy and is good for play, and also very nice-looking on display. Iconic scene in the movie. Overall, a fantastic set! If you love the Lego Movie and are collecting the sets this one can't be missed!!

I personally found the RoboCop Car is cooler than the Super Cycle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TeenagefanofLego I don't know where to start.
This set is simply AMAZING. What do I have to complain about? I played with this every single day when I got it. The minifigures are great, the SWAT van is awesome, and the Super Cycle looks just like the one in the movie. This by far made my top three favorate sets from this line. I love the set. Plus, if you combine Bad Cop's Persuit with this, it becomes even more fun. Overall, I totally think it is worth the $50. I would reccomend this to anyone thinking about buying it.
