    Description

Build the majestic Elven city of Rivendell, home to Elrond and his beautiful warrior-princess daughter, Arwen. Call Gimli and Frodo Baggins to The Council of Elrond to plan the destruction of the One Ring and the defeat of Sauron. Place the Ring on the podium and recreate this classic scene from The Fellowship of the Ring! Send Gimli flying with the launch function when he tries to destroy the Ring with his axe. Beware the Eye of Sauron, as he draws closer to the Ring that will lead to the fall of Middle-earth!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great,but...C'mon LEGO, more girls! Mostly I'm a Lego mom to a Lego obsessed 8yr-old. That said, I'm also a big LOTR fan and have a few LOTR and Hobbit Lego sets of my own. I love them all, details are great and mostly a good value. I look at these and see something that would have sent my childhood self into swoons of joy. But then I see something that I would have noticed as a kid, too. Where are the other female characters? I know there aren't many, but they're important. Where are Eowyn and Galadriel? This set has the only female LOTR character to be represented in Lego, and that alone makes it worth acquiring for any fan. It also makes it a little sad. 08 February 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Set It is a great set with very cool minifigures especially Elrond who has a new type of cloak witch is red on one side and orange on the other. The stand for the ring is very detailed but i thin kit is not to scale with the rest of the set. I like the new orange leafs. As it is now the set is priced perfectly but i would have payed more if it was a bit larger and had more minifigs. Or at least you could buy a sepreat assesery with more people (maybe everone that was at the counsil of Elrond if it was not to much to ask). Butover allthis is an awsome set and glad i got it. 16 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Go Elrond !!! The minifigures are the best part of this set. Elrond is my favorite minifigure of all time, but it's kind of weird that Elrond has a smiling face, since you hardly ever see him smile in the movies. Gimli and Frodo are the same as in other sets. Arwen is exclusive but I would rather have a different minifigure like Legolas. This set should include some minifigures that can sit on the chairs. The elven architecture is awesome, as are the autumn leaves. There were two elven sword/spear things and two bows included. The photo online shows a brick separator, but there wasn't one included in the set. Is that supposed to be included with the set? If not then why is it in the photo? Overall, this is an awesome set and it is well worth the money. 05 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Council of elrond First lets start with the minifigs Elrond:Probably my favorite figure because of his beautiful hairpiece and two colored cape.Arwen:A good minifig but I would have perfered leg pieces too.Frodo:Same frodo except no cape and a tired weary expression on his face.Gimli:I mainly bought this set because I didn't have him.I painfully noticed the absence of the larger two bladed axe. Now to the set .It is a beautiful little set with my favorite part being the elven arches. This set includes a lot of extra pieces including 1 Sting,1 Bow,and 2 rings. 06 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Elrond Back with another review. Lets dive in with the mini figures. Frodo is cool because he has an exclusive face print. Another Gimli really, give me Merry, He came in an overpriced set and it was at the point I really didn't get Middle Earth sets. I got into it When Hobbit Came out. Arwen is excellent mini figure, while I don't like the cheekbones on her face, at least I can cover it up with her hair. Elrond is the best figure in this set. He comes with a bicolored cape and an awesome mold which I think will be recolored for Galadriel later this year. Now onto the set. I love getting the elven sword and the orange leaves. You get a launching Gimli function, which the eye of Sauron is under it. This set is master display piece. Now onto the final verdict. Overall I give this set an A 10 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rivendell Nothing shouts out Lord of the Rings more than Rivendell. This set catches the charm and visuals from the film and let us hope there is more to come from Lego to attach to this set in the near future. The set comes with some nice unique pieces and also Elrond and Arwen which add to the expanding lord of the rings lego character collection. 04 August 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by RIVENDELL AT LAST!!!!! well, if it could only be bigger, (like a 100 dollar set versus 30) it would make it so much better, but overall, a really cool set. theres arwen and elrond, and the other two come in all of the sets, so their not so much fun. a lot more weapons than what it says it has, and also a cool euye o' sauron thingymabobber. 29 July 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great for lord of the rings fans I really enjoyed Elronds council. It is fun to play with, and includes great minifigs. Now for the pros and cons : Pros - amazing minifigs -New Frodo! -Great architecture Cons - Tiny weaponry -Sitting Elrond down ruins his cape -No others! All and all this set was great! 13 July 2013
