Rated 5 out of 5 by MCochran37 LEGO Juniors Rock!
I wasn't sure what to expect about the LEGO Juniors if it would come with enough pieces to make the building experience fun but it did! Being able to participate in the Lego Juniors Chatterbox was a great experience for both me and my sons! They were so excited to open the boxes and put them together. My 3 yr old loves Police so these were perfect! The tiny handcuffs make it so much more fun. My 7 yr old thought the robber and tiny money and the jail cell were AWESOME! I think these are great for that in between big blocks and the tiny pieces of regular legos. The instructions were very clear and he put them together all by himself with no help. Another LEGO Winner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by miamommy Best idea from Lego ever!
I am so glad that Lego created this new line of bricks for children ages 4-7. My son is 5 and loves duplo but they weren't really challenging enough for him. He also didn't like the way his bricks were so much larger than his older brother. He was able to complete this Juniors set in about 2 hours unassisted. The instructions were very clear, and he did not have to ask me any questions or for any help. This line in between Duplo and Lego really gives kids the confidence and experience they need to grow into more advanced sets.

The things that made it difficult for my 3-5 yo children to build regular LEGO sets (like constructing archways and floor plans) were solved with these sets, as many difficult to build pieces came as 1 piece AND they were pre-stickered - this mom's dream come true. The pieces were fun, just difficult enough for my boys, and have pieces that will add nicely to their regular sets when they outgrow LEGO Juniors. I appreciate LEGO sending this set for my review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by quesonacho Great starter set for your little builder
My 5.5 year old daughter loved this set. My husband has had to help her with the other LEGO sets (Friends, Disney Princess), but this she did all by herself. The instructions were pretty easy to follow along. She loved all the detailed parts like the key and handcuffs and doors. These are great starter sets for your little builders. (I received a free Chatterbox chat pack in exchange for my honest opinion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Melrose154 Perfect for my 4-6 year olds!
We got my boys (ages 4, 5 and 6) their first LEGO sets for Christmas last year. They love them, but my husband and I had to put the sets together completely for my then 3 and 4 year old, and help my 6 year old quite a bit. So I was really excited to try out the LEGO Juniors. My hope was that all my boys would be able to put them together without our help. After opening the box I was thrilled to see the larger sized pieces as well as the smaller amount. With the exception of helping my boys locate a specific piece every now and then they put this together completely on their own! The instructions were clear and simple enough that they had no problem following along and they loved that they could do it without our help. They were so proud of themselves! They really love the figures that came with the sets, and the little details are a big hit! The police dog has been chasing bad guys all morning and there has been more than one jail break (caught on tape by the camera, of course). I can honestly say the LEGO Juniors sets are perfect for my boys and they love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jessdine LITTLE HANDS LIKE LITTLE WORK
My four year old son loves Lego’s and received some for his birthday at the end of December. As much as he liked them, he didn't focus enough to help build them. When we received the opportunity to try Lego Junior’s I was thrilled. When he opened the package he was ecstatic. Since the product is geared toward 4-7 year olds, we invited his seven year old sister to help build the sets. His sister worked with him to follow the directions to build the Digger. Right away she said she thought the directions were easier than her Lego sets. . She and her brother worked together to build the Jail. They loved the little figures, detailed parts and the preprinted pieces.
The set allowed my four year old son to get more involved in the building. My seven year old’s confidence in her ability to build a set on her own was boosted. It is a great product to try as a first step in real Lego’s. I would love to see some of the Lego Friends as Lego Juniors.
My biggest joy is that they did it without me. I love building with them but I loved that they were able to accomplish the sets on their own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shae Lego Juniors Police- The Big Escape
The Lego Juniors set is perfect, both educational and fun. It provides hours of unassisted entertainment. I am excited that Lego created a set for juniors ages 4-7. When my children were younger they really enjoyed the Duplo style set. Now my kids are a little older and appreciate a smaller more versatile block and it doesn’t hurt that the pieces look more like the set their older siblings are playing with. The Police- Big Escape set is enjoyed by the girls and the boys . The set comes in a colorful box with instructions that are easy for them to follow. My children loved building the Police set. They played for hours talking to the pieces and chasing the crook around town and locking him up in jail. The set has some really detailed pieces that really spark their imagination, enhancing their play time. The Police set has two policemen with a car and a motorcycle, a police dog with bones, a telephone, trash can, crowbar, walkie talkie, keys, handcuffs, and a crook with even 2 money bills and a loot bag. I can’t ask for a better set. Lego really paid attention to detail and has an awesome winner here. You can’t go wrong buying these for your children or giving them as gifts!

***I received this product for free as part of a Chat Pack in return for my honest review.***
I actually really liked these sets and so did the kids. My son (4) and I worked on the Digger while my husband and daughter (6) worked on the Police - Big Escape set. We are use to the bigger, Duplo LEGOs.
The Police - Big Escape set: While my husband was mostly supervising this one, I did get to see them work together. My daughter was pretty easily able to follow the instructions and mostly built this on her own. Dad did help some, but then again we haven't built very many LEGO sets from instructions. Playing: Both of my kids LOVED playing with these sets. They liked the little dog, the bad guy, getting to put the bad guy in the little jail cell, pushing around all of the vehicles, etc...
What I liked: I liked that the instructions and the pieces were simplified for the younger builder. I think this definitely helps bridge the gap between Duplos and the bigger, regular full size sets. I liked how the pieces were reasonably sized.
Summary: I would buy one of these sets on my own after trying these out. I would recommend the sets I tried and other LEGO Juniors sets to a friend. I will most likely purchase other LEGO Juniors sets in the future.
