Rated 5 out of 5 by Toadie77 Great build for my 5 year old
My daughter absolutely loved this build. She was able to complete almost the entire ship by herself. According to her I am the official "pusher-downer". If a brick won't go all the way down I am there to help. She worked for around 4 hours total over two days to complete.
She has loved playing with the Dolphin Cruiser. She feeds the dolphins from the ship and has them swim under the boat.
This is a great product!

Currently working on a nautical theme and although designed for girls it works fine as a female boat in a collection. Would love it if LEGO did a his and hers theme. Male boat could be a fishing cruiser with a marlin hooked by a fisher man at the rear surrounded by his buddies. Love the more detailed figures. Alas my girls are all grown up but they would have loved this set when they were younger

Rated 3 out of 5 by BostonMom This boat don't float
Love the idea of the cruise ship, but why build one that doesn't float? My daughter's brother has the Lego coast guard boat and loves to float it, and we thought this would be a great match. However, the cruise ship can't float. Girls like to play with their Legos, too, not just decorate them. My daughter found it a bit insulting.
Great idea, poor execution.

I got this set for my birthday and as soon as I had finnished building it, I couldn't stop playing with it. My sister and I spend hourse playing with the Dolphin Cruiser. The characters are unipue and so are the dolphins.
It's nice have some more boy characters in the set too, there isn't many boys in the Lego Friend sets. This is one of my

Rated 5 out of 5 by AuntAnne Great vacation build
My nieces are 5 & 7. They both loved the set and spent more time playing with this set than other Friends sets. I was surprised at how easy it was for the 5 year old to change furniture and use her imagination to create 2 "ships" by removing the top. Great new mini-figs. Dolphins are unique. Both girls wanted to play for hours.

This was easy to assemble. Some pieces are very small and are a little hard to hold which may make it hard for some. Once together there are a lot of areas of play inside and props for imaginative play.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LindsayF Visually Impressive & Detailed Ship!
The Dolphin Cruiser is a visually impressive ship that has two main play areas: a rooftop control room and the ship's interior. The top features a pilot's seat, dolphin sonar, and minibar with lemonade, and lifts off to reveal a bedroom, bathroom, and lounge/kitchen beneath. There is also a lounge area on the front deck, and a shower, water slide, and dolphin feeding station on the back deck. You also get a jet ski and a pair of water skis.
I loved all the details inside the ship! There's even a 1x1 white cylinder in the bathroom for toilet paper. And a little pink 1x1 dot for soap by the sink. I mean, that's just almost too much for me to handle.
Here are the pros and cons as I see them:
-You get 3 minidolls with cute outfits and nice printing, including -gasp- a boy! Mia is finally wearing something besides her green pants and blue top- she's got a cute stripy top and skirt this time.
-The pair of dolphins are cute and can even wear the hair accessories. Because what dolphin doesn't need a hairbow!
-Ice cream cones, a Popsicle, and orange juice are in a little cooler
-Pack of dark purple hair accessories (bows, crown, flowers, hearts, etc)
-Cute sectional couch
-The jet ski conveniently attaches to the side of the ship when not in use
-Impressive ship is a satisfying build, with lots of fun elements like all the clear panels on the sides
-For some reason I thought there was a third level between the roof and the lower level, like where the two big windshields are. There's not. It's still a large set with good play/display area.
-I wish they'd put doors between the bathroom and the other rooms. Silly but there you go.
-There's a bedroom for the two girls but I guess Andrew just crashes on the couch?
These are nitpicky things I know. Overall this is a great set, especially if you can grab it below the $69.99 MSRP. It really feels like the minidolls have everything they need for a cruise on the high seas! I would have loved to see some scuba gear for them, but oh well.
I find I prefer this set to the similarly-priced Olivia's House (though I love that one too, don't get me wrong). My main issue with the house was that the lawn pieces didn't connect, making it difficult to transport. The Dolphin Cruiser is one solid piece, and I like that. It's also more creative than your typical dollhouse scenario. As an adult collector, I think this set adorable, and I'm sure any girl would love playing with it too. I know I would have adored it as a child!
