Rated 4 out of 5 by Julia I love the colors and the openness of this house. So many beautiful windows and glass doors. I would love a house just like it!
The sandcastle, the wave, the balcony and the hinged window on the second floor are awesome. The mini-figure's surfer style and crab are also super cute.
The inside space isn't really usable. Especially the downstairs. My hands wear a large in kid's gloves. I cannot get the little dude in the first floor standing at all. On the second floor it's workable but boring.
The set is $10 more than the Mountain hut which is hinged and way more fun to play with. I enjoyed the build and the variety but ultimately just okay.

This set was good to build but I didn't get much play out of it because there are not many features but I do like how fun it was to build doing all the detail and all the different objects. This set is a three in one which means you can build three different sets. The set I built had two storeys and a sea with a sand castle on the sand. the second one I built was the one with tow storeys too but it had a pier and no sand castle. I did not get around to building the third house but I think it will be allot of fun. This set can be built over and over again because you can make 3 different models. I loved this set and until next time get building and have fun.

I love this set. If I could shrink myself or size the set up, I'd live in this little house. I built the house shown on the front on the box (I thought it was the best looking). It was an easy build and it was enjoyable as everything came together nicely. Now I'm going to have to buy a few other sets to expand my little seaside village!
Lots of doors and windows that open and close
Cute little bbq
outdoor shower with towel rack
I wish the palm tree attached to the main build somehow to better keep the set together.

I am very pleased with this product! I like that it includes lots of decoration, like a sandcastle, and barbecue, seagull, palm tree, fish etc.
The colors look nice, overall I like this product.
The bad thing about it, is that the Barbecue does not attach to the Lego, same with the fish on the barbecue, it always slides around. Also the palm tree is not attached to the house it self, but these things can be fixed with a few adjustments. I would definitely recommend this product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chrestomanci Purchased this mainly for the light blue bricks, the white banister pieces, and all the doors and windows, however the 3 builds were all unique and made it hard not to want to build them all.
The details were great, the drink fountain in the bar area, the outdoor shower, and especially the birds were nice.
The only poor part of the set was the lack of inside details, would have been nice to see some kitchen/bedroom details inside the house.

My girlfriend and I built this together last night. Great build. A lot of 'specialty' pieces included, much more than I remember as a kid playing with my own Legos. We like the multiple build options and plan to bulldoze and rebuild as new many, many times. I'm sure my daughter will also enjoy it. I would have liked to get more than one mini-figure though. Also, $35 at the local Lego Store was a little steep.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ThisCalgaryGirl I like it!
I just bought this set today and finished putting the advanced build together. I like all the elements and how they came together in the end.
A few things challenges I had, the tree on page 6 step 7 was hard to get the trunk on the stick (I gave up to be honest) and on page 54 placing the red bricks on step 9 was unsure as the level underneath does not appear in diagram and thought I missed a step.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susie Fun Creator Set
This is one of the best Creator sets my 5 year old and I have built together. We built the main design, and I loved all the little details. We have several of these building sets (log cabin, the little cottage that also makes a windmill and a few others) and this was the most fun so far.
The best part is the skylight window on the roof. That is a cool design element that I hadn't seen before.
