I used to play with LEGO when young so bought this as a bit of a nostalgia trip. A great selection of pieces which kids can use to make a variety of things depending on their imagination. I think these kits are better than the ones that you just assemble to make a spaceship or robot etc as there is little creativity there. Not a fan of faces etc printed on the LEGO to make up model characters but I guess that is progress and presumably kids of today like that sort of thing. The bricks look good quality and should last a lifetime. For me it just lost 1 star as I would like to see more traditional pieces of LEGO and less of the more modern ones but then that is just me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BrickNotalot Disappointed to be honest
I was hoping for a large box of mixed blocks, with loads of 4x2's and larger so that we could build general things such as houses, rockets... the stuff we used to do without an instruction booklet!
How wrong I was, hundreds of little tiny pieces which cannot cinstruct anything in reality. It will bulk the other Lego we have, but I am disappointed in the quantity of Lego provided for the price. The large box contains less than a quarter of Lego.... only a handful of the larger bricks (which are displayed across the box). I will definitely look more closely to see exactly what you get next time as I found the box misleading being honest.

Rated 5 out of 5 Best Price Online!
Well I decided to buy my little boy his first Lego set. Although he’s just turned, my wife would say it was I actually bought this for myself.
Anyway, having checked on ebay and Amazon I would usually, I came across this on the Asda website. It was almost £10 cheaper than anywhere else with an for free delivery to your local store.
The Lego set arrived a day earlier than quoted, I received an SMS as well as email to let me know it had arrived.
It’s a greater starter set and would highly recommend anyone to buy this, whether it be for their child or themselves :-)
Hours and hours of creative, fun and imaginative play for all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Su2e Asda price was most competitive
After seeing the Lego movie, I was quite keen to up my collection.
The quality was never going to be questionable as it's a Lego product.
However, after searching online, Asda's price was by far the most competitive.
Had to wait until stock was available to order and by the afternoon of re-listing they had run out of stock. Just proof what a good offer it was.
No hassle with collection and arrived very promptly at my local store.
The packaging of the product is a bit excessive for the number of pieces you have, but you can just add all your Lego and store together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MarkDon Unbeatable value
Bought one, realised its potential, so tried to buy another but OOS everywhere, asda service team on Twitter located the last one in the area for me and reserved it. Brilliant service. Its a shame so many of these sets ended up on ebay by people wanting to make a few quid profit, would have bought more for the bairn if available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cyprussally Great value for money
I bought this for my grandson. For a box of Lego this was excellent value and really not to be missed. I had to buy another for my grand daughter! It has a lot of different bricks in it and keeps them amused for hours. I am sure with so much inside this would cost 4 times as much anywhere else. My best buy in a very long while!
