I love Jamie's recipes, all of them. This book comes really handy when you come home late from work, or somebody drops in, and you have to fix something from scratch. The pictures make you feel you want to have any or even all of the meals. And you can have them. Of course there are some of his usual tricky ingredients needed for some of the recipes but they are really lovely and worth the effort.

I love this cook book. Every recipe has been really great on flavour, and was easy to make. The first time you do any recipe, it takes longer, as with any recipe, but if you really want to do it inside 15 mins, you can, as long as you have everything ready. (Actually, I'm not in that much of a hurry usually, so like to cook relaxed!) It's not cheap to cook this way, the quickest meat to cook is often most expensive (chicken breasts, lamb fillet etc) but you can't have everything, can you? If someone walked off with my copy, I'd go straight out and buy another, it's that good.Get yourself a copy. Now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ajgoodfellow Great, useful and easy to follow cook book
I bought this for my girlfriend's birthday as we both loved watching his TV series
Unlike his 30 minute meals these are easy to do if you're not a chef in a quick period of time!
The book is organised into seperate helpful sections such as fish, lamb, etc which aids finding a quick dish. He has also listed all of the common ingrediants you should have in one place too
The directions are clear, concise and easy to use. Highly recommended

Bought this having seen the TV programme - quick, easy and tasty meals. The perfect recipe book for weekday meals when you want something fast but homemade.
Very pleased with it - well laid out and unlike the 30 minute meals it's individual courses rather than starter, main and dessert - much better I thought.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jamietoo Great Christmas present for a budding chef
This book is full of ideas and inspiration for quick and easy meals. There is a list at the beginning of the book of ingredients you should have in your store cupboard, which is really handy and enables you to keep a basic stock so you don't have to go out and buy things specially. The only unexpected thing I found was the list of equipment you should also have, but as long as you're prepared for the meals to take a bit longer if you don't have a food processor, for example, then it's no big deal.

As a massive fan of Jamie Oliver and his time-saving yet home-cooked food, I was eager to get my hands on his latest publication and I was not disappointed. In this book, unlike 30 Minute Meals, every recipe and its photo is on one page, and also there are calorific values per portion, which is great for me. I prefer the font in this book to the previous one for some reason too.
It's going to get a lot of use in our household!

Rated 4 out of 5 by phunkypunkkk Great for expanding your horizons
This is a great collection of quick and easy(ish) recipes that will help you to try out new dishes and expand your horizons in the kitchen, but don't expect to be able to grab it and whip up a recipe after a hard days work. Recipes need to be planned because the ingredients used are not typical, find-them-at-the-back-of-your-cupboard stuff. Definitely worth giving this book a go though.
