I was torn between this product and the Pampers brand version but I went with the Huggies Little Swimmers because I trust the Huggies brand. The product is great. My son can play in the pool for hours and doesnt show any discomfort (and he's pretty finicky about soggy diapers). The tear away sides make for easy removal and the sizes overlap so I'm never stuck with outgrown left overs. I was concerned about dirty diapers as opposed to just wet ones, but when that situation came along I had nothing to worry about. Didn't even know the diaper was a dirty one until it came off. That, in my book, makes them an ideal swimmy diaper. Very impressed.

My 23 month old son just moved into a size 5 diaper. We bought the Medium sized Huggies Little Swimmers and they fit him great, but have enough room length-wise that he can grow a bit during the summer. He is above average for height, which means the weight on the packages can throw me off with sizing since he only has a small baby belly, so I wanted to share the sizing in case this helps anyone else.
I avoided the other popular brand because he still has their size 3/4 from last year that still fit but are snug (this was when he wore a size 3 but the 3/4's swallowed him). I was afraid going up to a size 5 in that brand would be too big on him.

Rated 5 out of 5 Works great!
I wanted to take my 4 month old to the pool and didn't know what to get. My husband's cousin recommended the HUGGIES Little Swimmers, so tried them. The smallest size was a Small (16-26lbs)... my baby was only about 10lbs at the time so I wasn't sure how it would fit her, but it was perfect! It wasn't loose and fit her very well with stretching room once she gets bigger. I also wasn't sure if it would bulge up in the water, but when I took them off, it wasn't any different than when I take off her diaper after sleeping through the night! Needless to say, her first swim was a success, she loved the water and the Little Swimmers were great!

Its easy to think that when you are bringing your infant swimming, which sometimes doesn't last very long, that it would probably be ok to go without a diaper, or even a regular one. This is definitly not recommended! I am a first time mom and tried this and all I had was a mess after! Little swimmers are awesome and they are a summer must have! We go through them so often and they are a great product that proves to work even for long afternoons of swimming! If you have not tried them, go buy some! You will not regret it and it will be comfortable and easy for your infant or toddler to swim in and will leave you with no huge mess after! Promise!!!

I have been buying these with all of my kids and I try to keep some on hand when we have friends visit too, incase we decide to use the neighborhood pool center (indoor/outdoor) we can go year round. Since we can't always find these after the summer is over I like to buy a couple of extra packs in different sizes for that reason. I love how they do not clump up and the little ones can swim for quite a while before having to worry about changing them. Just remember they are not diapers and are not meant to absorb in the same way diapers do so you should check them regularly and change them before driving home unless you want a mess.

I'm so happy with Little Swimmers Swimpants. I was very skeptical of using them at first thinking they wouldn't be much different then a regular diaper; and man was I wrong! They are amazing, the keep pee and poop in without making a huge mess in the pool, they are easy to put on and take off, and they don't bloat up and come apart like a diaper does when submerged in water. My son loves them because they go on just like a big boy swimsuit and he can do it by himself. and the characters/designs have always been unisex so they are great for both genders too. I definitely recommend these to anyone that has an un-potty trained child that will be in the pool.

My daughter will be 4 in July but she is so Tiny, and huggies lil swimmers dont stay on her so she cant wear her little bikini she has to wear a 1 piece so they stay on.With my son I have to get a bigger size because he has chubby thighs but then the waist is to big.I hd to buy him those one piece swim outfits for the lake just they would stay on him.
I shouldnt have to buy new swim wear for my kids because they only make em for your average babys and toddlers body type.My daughter should be able to wear her lil bikini and my son should be able to wear his swim shorts.
They hold and dont break a part thats all but they dont fit.

Our almost 7 month old's first trip to FL was a great success much to the part of Little Swimmers. Due to our location in the upper midwest, she hadn't gotten a chance to swim in a pool until we headed south for a few days this winter. The complex required swim diapers in order to use the pool and our Little Swimmers worked great. Better yet, we felt like our little girl seemed comfortable with the Little Swimmers as they are very similar to a diaper, yet held up great in the pool. Best of all - she loved the pool and excitedly got in with us several times while on vacation! Can't wait for summer and our outdoor pool to open...
