2. I require my gate to swing outward (right hung) from a bedroom door (hinged to face of splayed architrave) which then swings 90 degrees across a staircase opening. I then want the gate to lock across the staircase opening....so it serves a duel purpose - door + stair opening protection. All I need to achieve that is a second set of 'keep' mechanism fixed to the stair post so the gate locks when across the stair opening as well. Question - when I buy the gate, can I buy an extra set of keeps for the staircase please?
