To ensure maximum safety for children on car journeys, parents are legally required to fit their vehicles with car seats until their children reach the age of 12 or a height of 135cm.

As a result, parents will need to buy a number of car seats for their children at different stages of their life.

However, with a number of rules regarding the type of car seat children will need depending on their size and weight, it's important that parents identify which car seat suits the needs of their family most effectively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Second Baby Seat Purchase My first baby car seat was purchased over 37 years ago and had to be screwed into the bottom of the car body. I can't believe how easy this seat was to fit. Simply set it on the seat and feed the seat belt around the special clip and you're ready to go with your baby's baby (granddaughter). It's light and easy to lift from car to car when needed, easily washed material and will grow with the child until no longer needed and then transforms into a booster seat! The delivery was tracked for my information. ASDA have it competitively priced and cheaper than its nearest rival and with a normal swift delivery service to make even Superman blush! 26 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Glad I bought it. I bought one because my oldest grandson will be visiting & he is too big for the smaller seats I have for my other grandsons. I was impressed with it & when I saw that it was suitable for 3 year olds I bought another( I have 3 year old twin grandsons) as it would save choping & changing seats. My daughter was really impressed & the boys loved the seats " big boy Chairs" so we ordered another two for her. It was my first time shopping with Asda online & it was flawless, easy to complete & delivery was cheap yet fast in all three orders. Asda kept me up to date on delivery by e mail 19 September 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great seat The appearance and comfort is very good. My son loves the cup holders for his toys and beaker. It is so easy to put in the car and very lightweight. I was a little worried at the start that the back is so flimsy but is isn't the same as the Stage 2 seat we had before (Maxi Cosi Tobi) where they are solid! I had to remind myself it is a different stage carseat. My son is now able to reach across to the other side of the car so I have to remind him to sit up straight. But that would be the same with any 3 point harness carseat. The sides at the top don't come round too far so they don't get in my son's way. 26 September 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect and so simple to use Excellent value for money. The covers come off easily for washing. It does the job, there are obviously more luxurious ones on the market but if you want one of those then go and pay double the price of this one. Definitely check it is suitable in both height and weight for your child. Don't be put off by it saying 4-12 years on the box and advert as this is referring to just the booster seat. It is from 3years (height 96cm of child) with the back. Fits perfectly on seats even the slightly smaller ones found in the very back of mpv's 22 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value I bought two, have two toddlers and seats are great, lightweight but still give comfort and support, my boys love the cup holders too!! Very handy! They can easily be transferred between cars also which is very convenient. Great price for them as always with Asda. 08 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Glad I purchased this car seat I purchased this booster seat for my 3 year old grand-daughter as she is quite tall for her age and got a bit long for her car seat which was up to a 4 year old. I thought it was good value for money so I bought one for my daughter as well. She was very happy with it. The only thing I found was that it was easy for my grand-daughter to release the seat belt, so we have to keep telling her not to do it. So that is something to watch out for. 01 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by fab item great value my son loves this seat he says its comfortable and makes him feel like a big boy. great having the drink holders and it was good value for the money... 09 September 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them These are fantastic car seats and such good value for money which when buying two is great. My twins love them especially the cup holders and the fact they can now see out my windows (probably has something to do with them growing too) They are very easy to assemble. My daughter christened hers after a week by throwing up on it. The covers went straight in the wash and came out great (did not actually check they should go in machine but they did) Would definitely recommend 02 May 2013

    Hello,

I went to buy this car seat in my local Asda but unfortunately, has sold out. It is ten pounds cheaper in store. Is there anyway you can honour the price if I buy it online to collect in store?

    Thanks in advance.
