DescriptionVintage Champagne can only be made from the grapes of one particular year (2007), and only the best years qualify for the status of vintage. Because the Champagne spent over five years maturing in the bottle, the grapes were of the highest possible quality, with perfect levels of ripeness. This fine Vintage Champagne is from Chanoine Freres, one of the oldest producers in Champagne who have been making Champagne since 1730. 2007 was a very fine year, making rich, long lasting and full bodied wines with a good freshness. The blend is composed of equal parts of chardonnay, for elegance and complexity, and pinot noir, for structure and richness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VintageDrinker from Exceptional Vintage for the price This is an exceptional vintage for the price, bought for Christmas Day and it went down very well. Definitely a scoop and usually but from a competitor, this was at least as good and a much better price, well done Asda.
